I’m here! Just did tequila shots with my son - he turned 19 today lol.
51, cake designer, married almost 26 years to DH.
Currently peaing from my phone while we watch a repeat of game 4 between Raptors & Warriors. Our sports network has been airing one game from the Raptors playoff run each night since the NBA stopped. I never thought we’d still be in isolation for the 24 days they said it would take. But here we are, final game airs Sunday!

I’m 31 years old born and raised in San Diego, and have been married for 8 years. I just poured myself a glass of rosé and am watching Hart of Dixie. I am currently furloughed because of the coronavirus but when I go back to work I’ll be working in commercial and residential real estate development. No children. My husband works in the automotive industry as a catalog manager for a major parts manufacturer. We have been enjoying quarantine for the most part. We started rewatching Mad Men. The thing I miss most about my life pre-quarantine is my weekends. I really miss Sunday brunch with my girlfriends. And being able to go running on the beach! My husband and I especially loved going to a small coffee shop in La Jolla early in the morning and watching the fog lift over the water as the sun rose. My dh works for an automotive supplier, for a bunch of the major automakers, and they do aftermarket, too. Right now he still has a job but barely. He is a manager, but he manages warehouse operations. That means that there is pretty much nothing to do, so he's on reduced salary. They are supposed to start shipping masks soon (made by a sister company). The warehouse is open with social distancing for now, but they’ve already stopped matching 401K contributions for everyone at his company. His salary hasn’t been reduced yet but we are waiting for it to happen. He’s been wanting an out for a while now but this isn’t an ideal time to be job hunting. And I’m also facing the reality that I may not have a job after this if the economy tanks even more.

Partaaaaayyyy! Good evening everyone. I have a splitting headache but didn't want to be left out LOL. I really won't be partying cuz of this dang head, will need to hit the sack soon. Intro: I'm Jayne, 62 and am single. I live with my sister and our two schnauzers. I work in third party collections for the state utility company and currently work from home. Bummed about the virus since I feel like I'm in limbo. I was going to have bariatric sleeve surgery this month and a big bathroom remodel and it's all on hold. Boo hiss. But I and my family are still living so that's something. IRL is pretty much all on hold these days. It sucks!!

I think it'll be ok in the end, but for now it's just scary. I realize I am lucky because my job is secure.

Anita, 49, married for 29 years. I'm a technical writer and I am fortunately working from home through all this. It was a long week. I logged off 15 minutes early and popped open a wine cooler. I have been having one a week to celebrate the end of each week since I started working from home (almost a month now). Tonight I am tempted to have a second.

I love schnauzers! We had one when I was in high school. I mixed a cream soda and vanilla moonshine. I put very little alcohol in it so all I am tasting is cream soda. We got the moonshine when were in TN this past summer. I had forgotten we had it. My daughter is having a Zoom cocktail party with friends. She is drinking ginger ale with blackberry moonshine. Where the heck do you buy moonshine??! LOL. I'm thinking some old coots out back in the hills with a steel barrel and pipes? LOL

I'm here. Started drinking at a Zoom happy hour at 6pm so after that, and the $5 bottle of champagne a local restaurant threw in with our take out meal, I regret to say I'm shitfaced. Someone remind me to take Tylenol before bed, because I sure as hell won't remember. I'm 61, at home with DH and our 20 year old who is a sophomore at a university in New England. I've been telling everyone that our lives haven't changed all that much, because we are three introverts sharing a house Well, that was nice! the free champagne? My dh is very much an extrovert. So this is killing him. He works in the woods, in a huge machine, all alone. So he misses people during the day, and likes to do things on the wkend. Me, I'm around people all day. I'm good with no people on the wkends.

We were in the Pigeon Forge area this past summer with my MIL and BIL and his family. We sampled a bunch of it at a moonshine store while shopping. We ended up buying a sampler pack. I got a buzz on pretty quickly that day-- we sampled many flavors. It was the best part of the whole trip. I was counting the days.

It's so nice to "meet" you all!
I live in southwest PA, married 24 yrs., have three kids 16, 20 and 22, and a German Shepherd. I have law degree, but have been a sahm since my oldest was born. I'm from Maryland, lived in Michigan and PA.
I am busy cleaning my house, but it's hard with the family home! I don't like the taste of any type of alcohol, but I will join with my glass of half diet coke half cherry coke and malted milk balls and popcorn!

Is it really moonshine, like in the back hills of the Ozarks, or is that just a euphemism? I see that word used a lot, and I never know if it's just people being cute. I thought moonshine was made from questionable ingredients that could destroy your brain. Who knew there are moonshine stores.

I help architects, engineers, and contractors get their permits so I’ve definitely been involved in a lawsuit or two. Luckily only to submit documents, I haven’t been sued!

Hello. 48. I'm the one with the front yard veg garden. DH and I were just out front having drinks and enjoying our yard and our now very quiet, usually quite busy, street. There is a Round Table 2 blocks away and we could smell it. Now I want pizza.

It's a very commercial business called "Old Forge Distillery". It comes in a lot of fun flavors. If there's real back hills moonshine, this isn't it.

Hi! I am 46 and a school administrator. I have 3 kids 23, 20 and 14. My 20-year-old is in the navy. I am eating jelly beans and waiting for my DH to come home from work. Then I will sanitize everything he owns! We are settling in to our new norm. I am controlling my world by ordering groceries. We have more snacks than we need. I am going to roll out of quarantine. We have been married for 27 years next month. Our oldest daughter is a grad student and is unhappily staying at home with us instead of her apartment. We have 2 cats and really miss having dogs. We planned to get a chocolate lab this may but I am debating that now.
