Did anyone else receive an odd amount? I thought if you made over the threshold it went down by $5, but our amount ended in $6.35??? Has anyone else had that happen? I assumed it would be an amount that was even and divisible by 5. I'm guessing that they prorate the last partial $100 over the threshold.

My bank's website and mobile banking are both down...so I don't know.

"I can't even get that far. It just tells me they can't determine my eligibility at this time."
I'm getting this too. Checked mine and my DH's . Nothing.
And -- what I also find intersting is that I get paid every other Friday. Usually on the Wednesday before payday I can see the deposit for Friday as pending online. I don't see it. But I went to my company's HR system and I can see the check for the 17th. So wondering if my bank is just overwhelmed?

I talked to someone in the know who said that the checks are being issued to those with the lowest incomes first. I'm not sure that is it. We got ours in our account today, my cousin who makes less than us has not. Perhaps those that get the full amount vs. Pro rated? No, mine is a pro-rated amount and was deposited today. No idea if it matters, but I had not filed my 2019 taxes yet. (i did them today)

Got my stimulus earlier this week and today a refund from my mortgage impound account. It's been a good week!

I said and feel the same. I am 55 years old and have been working and paying taxes since I was 15 years old. I feel that this is a small token back of all that I have paid over the years.

DS got his today. When I checked the status of ours it said we were eligible, but they didn't have enough information to direct deposit it. This is the first year we have owed taxes in our lives. The IRS has direct deposited our refund into the same checking account for the past 12 years. I'm not sure what information they "didn't have". I updated our banking information, but I'm not expecting to see anything anytime soon.

Also, I am the Power of Attorney for my dad's estate. He also received a payment, even though he passed back in November. Have you filed his last return yet? I'll admit it's occurred to me that since "she" filed for 2019 that she might be on the radar for a check, but we also filled out the paperwork to let the IRS know that she had passed, and this was effectively the last step in closing her estate. She did qualify for a refund, which came to me via check. I'm curious if I'm going to get a check with Trump's name on it or not.

Our household - 2 adults & a high school senior - doesn't qualify for the stimulus check. Our stimulus checks were deposited today. I have 4 days until I have to give it all back for taxes we owe. Thankfully I am still getting all my pay. Is anyone going to benefit in a big way from the stimulus check? Yep, july 15, no penalty if you owe... IR-2020-58, March 21, 2020 WASHINGTON — The Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced today that the federal income tax filing due date is automatically extended from April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020. Taxpayers can also defer federal income tax payments due on April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020, without penalties and interest, regardless of the amount owed. This deferment applies to all taxpayers, including individuals, trusts and estates, corporations and other non-corporate tax filers as well as those who pay self-employment tax. Taxpayers do not need to file any additional forms or call the IRS to qualify for this automatic federal tax filing and payment relief. Individual taxpayers who need additional time to file beyond the July 15 deadline, can request a filing extension by filing Form 4868 through their tax professional, tax software or using the Free File link on IRS.gov. Businesses who need additional time must file Form 7004. While the IRS has extended the tax filing deadline without penalties & interest, please check that your state has also extended the deadline without penalties & interest. For example, the NC Department of Revenue has extended the state filing deadline to 7/15 & will not charge penalties. However, it doesn't have the authority to change state law, & the General Assembly isn't in session, so interest will accrue on tax payments from 4/15 until the date paid.

Mine was deposited today. I got a pro-rated and (like other people have mentioned) odd amount. I'm still working, and feel very fortunate and thankful that I am, so I plan to donate a chunk of it to the Food Bank.

I did not get mine. The IRS did deduct what we owed in taxes this morning, so I know they have my direct deposit information. Nonetheless, I did fill out the online form.

I got mine and I got the whole $1,200. My gross pay is more than $75,000- evidently it adjusted down to below that- I need to get my tax returns out and look. I am very thankful, though. I'm still working and I make a good salary, so I'm going to try to grossly overtip restaurant and bar employees. It’s based on adjusted gross income, so look for that amount on your tax form.

They can't determine my eligibility at this time either. Hopefully that will change soon. Perhaps that simply means they haven’t gotten to processing of your stimulus money yet? I assume that they are working their way through the huge amount of returns/accounts by some method (perhaps date filed?) and as they get processed they get issued. Those that haven’t been processed might say that generic statement about eligibility. I think that's probably it. I'm still waiting for my tax return as well, if they both show up in my bank account at the same time that would be a nice sight to see, haha. Maybe next week when my company gets paid, that'd be even better lol

We are fortunate that we are not getting one. No complaints here. I hope everyone gets theirs and uses it wisely.
My brother (not so dear) was complaining today that him and his wife made just over $150k together and he's mad he isn't getting a check. Idiot.

I have to file his taxes and taxes from a trust, and didn't get a chance to go to a tax professional before everything closed down. I don't plan on spending it in case they want it back.
