My husband and I both got ours today — we are surprised because we thought we for sure made too much. Maybe our AGI was lower? Or maybe since we didn’t file 2019 yet, our 2018 income was lower?

Mine was suppose to be deposited today but they used direct deposit information from last year that is wrong. I figure they will send a paper check. Is there a place on their site where deposit info can be corrected?

No I have not. I have to file his taxes and taxes from a trust, and didn't get a chance to go to a tax professional before everything closed down. I don't plan on spending it in case they want it back. That may be why. I had the same situation, filing her taxes and then another set for the trust. Paid a pretty penny to a tax professional to do it too. There's a form that they'll fill out indicating that he's passed and that this is his last return. This clues the IRS in to close him out in their system if that makes sense. if you haven't already done so, you'll need his social security statement for 2019. I had to go TO the SS office to get moms. it was an experience let me tell you. Lastly, my condolences on your loss. It just sucks to lose a parent, and then to have to clean up the estate is a whole nother mess. We're coming up on a year from my mom's death and this whole covid mess is bringing up things I haven't thought about in months. With apologies for the hijack.

No still told payment status unavailable. I really feel for those who need this money now. Not in a Trump stamped check in Sept.

I can't get past the first screen. It can't find me. Doesn't like my social security number. It is the number I got 47 years ago when I was born. Nothing new for me in the last 13 years, so not sure what the problem is. I owed in 2018 and I owed in 2019. I mailed a check in both times. I filed already for 2019, I only owed $56 so I mailed in my check back in early February. Never thought to file and pay online when owing. I have no plans for the money, so I am in so rush for it, but was curious about it. But I can't even get in to see a status. Oh well.

My understanding is if you owed taxes in 2018 & 2019 you're going to get a paper check and they won't start going out until the first of May.

"According to information that we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time.
For more information on the eligibility rules, see our Frequently Asked Questions page."is what my DD, 2019 college grad, not dependent keeps getting. I know some of your kids are in the same situation. mom (?) and others. I hope they don't screw these young adults out of it, just starting out and really could use. Is there, or will there be somewhere to question/dispute non payment? or will they be SOL or have to wait until next year's filing to "correct"?

I entered my direct deposit information last week. I checked this morning and it says we’re eligible for the payment. It shows our direct deposit information too, but it’s still not giving a date for when we can expect the payment. I’m grateful I’m not in a position where I really need that money right now. I’m sure there are many people still waiting who are getting desperate .

I understand that since I owed taxes that I get a paper check, but it talks about being able to enter direct deposit info, but I can't get to that point. Just wondering if I'm the only one on that.
But again, I am in no rush for the money so no big deal I guess.

When I check the site it shows it has that information, but it still won’t give me a date when to expect the deposit. I got into the site last week around dinner time, so you might want to try then if you want to try again. You need to have the information from the last taxes you filed - how much your AGI was and how much you paid.

No one has claimed him since 2018 taxes. I dont think there is any way to dispute it.

I just found this article which basically explains the papers checks will be dropped about 5 million total per week, starting with those with the lowest adjusted gross income. If you make more money you will be waiting longer.

I still haven't received anything, and I also didn't receive my full tax refund so I'm trying to figure out what's going on there. I know I don't owe anything.

I can’t even get passed the initial screen with mine or dhs number. We don’t NEED it, but I’d rather have DD than a check.

All I get is the message that they can't determine my eligibility. Why? Why can't they determine my eligibility?

OMG no and today it’s disabled VA recipients apparently needed to input their dependent info by noon today (with about a day’s minimal “notice”) or not get the money until taxes are filed next year. FFS way to hurt disabled veterans and the families they are trying to support. Tell me again Trump and the GOP are taking care of the veterans. Ugh.

Those who file jointly, have you each gotten your own payment separately, or is it a joint payment?

Still no here. And despite the helpful tweet from POTUS, the IRS website isn’t helpful and didn’t get me the money “fast”. Beyond thankful I’m not one in dire straits desperately awaiting the funds.

I was able to get through on the get my payment website on Tuesday. At that time I entered our direct deposit info. I keep checking back daily and I get a message that I am eligible and my banking account info is ***, but there is no deposit date listed. It says the info will be updated soon.
I would assume it will take a week or two??
