Here in FL they are-it was never allowed before but hopefully it helps out on their bottom line.
So for Easter dinner, we've ordered a to-go family pack for five fajita meal from our favorite Mexican restaurant. (There's only two of us so lots of leftovers).
They had been closed for a few weeks so just started this. Unfortunately I can't prepay and have them bring it to the car; I still have to go in to pay and pick up.
But I also ordered a half gallon of margaritas! Not sure about the leftovers for that.

Yes many of our restaurants are offering half priced wine and beer as well as cocktail kits. I don’t think they can sell premixed cocktails though.

They implemented it in Colorado and it has really helped the restaurants! I don't know if they'll ever be able to go back.

I don't know, but I doubt it. I wish our local tiki bar was selling cocktail kits like I've seen those in other states do. However, Oregon is weird about alcohol and also gas pumping. Like, we're temporarily allowed to pump our own gas due to the pandemic, just when you don't want to increase the number of people touching things. I digress.
Hope you enjoyed your margaritas! 😄

Yes, they made it legal in Texas for now. I agree that it will be hard to rescind that law when the time comes.

They’re selling sealed bottles of liquor, beer and wine. A few places are selling cocktail kits. But they aren’t allowed to sell already mixed drinks. The temporary rules were kind of confusing at the beginning and a few restaurants were selling already mixed jugs of margaritas, martinis, Cosmo’s, etc. But the ABLE commission stopped it. 😒 Buzzkills.

The places that have bottles of wine and beer are offering those with purchase of food. You have to buy the whole bottle of wine though. Anyone who offered growlers or howlers are still offering them. One pizza place is selling 2 liters of pop that they didn't before.
Unfortunately the Mexican place that I love isn't offering margaritas to go, only beer that they had cans or bottles of.

Ours are selling beer and wine, and it's not very much over the price in the liquor stores. I wish they'd do cocktails! I'd totally buy in to that.

I haven’t heard anything about alcohol with a meal. I’m still struggling with the fact here a liquor store is considered an essential business. The grocery stores all sell alcohol, why do the liquor stores have to be open. That makes Hobby Lobby essential to me.

scrapngranny, liquor stores are essential to the alcoholics, unfortunately. I've seen the margarita mix and bloody mary set ups sold here.

Yes but you HAVE to order food also... The restaurant next to us sells a gallon of margaritas and chips and salsa for their "food" Some are selling just the liquor no need for food here in Denver. I know because my daughter brought home a 32oz container of frozen margaritas last week.

The state of Vermont is allowing restaurants to sell alcohol including cocktails for curbside pickup. I'm not sure about the "with food" question here. One of the reasons is because many restaurants actually make their money on sales of alcohol so it's a way of trying to ensure they can stay open through this time.

Several of ours are offering bottles of wine and six packs of beer, even though they normally wouldn’t. I’ve ordered one of each with meals during our time play home.

At first they were selling however they wanted and the liquor board put a stop to that. Now they can sell liquor, beer or wine in original, sealed containers. They can sell their mix but they can’t sell it premixed with alcohol in it. There has been some good deals in our town. We bought some margarita mix when we bought from a Mexican restaurant, they make the best margaritas. I’m in WA.

Yes, restaurants were able to sell alcohol soon after the dine-in ban started, but they had to be closed/unopened bottles. Now it's been relaxed and places can sell mixed drinks so long as the drinks are put into trunks or the far back of vehicles.

Yes, they are. We bought margarita mix from a Tex-Mex place, but didn’t get the alcohol because we already had some. Several places around the area are doing it as well.

Yes they are. A local pizza place has several party packs out together to make mixed drinks. They have all of the different ingredients in the perfect amounts for you to take home and make your own.

Ohio is allowing it and you can have premixed drinks as long as the container is closed, which basically means a lid. Evidently the margaritas are flying out of places.
