Thank you flanz, for posting this. Tough read, but I truly feel for these healthcare workers. @peasapie, your daughters are in my prayers and thoughts.
I had no idea that things are done in such a very horrifying manner for this virus. Not sure if this is the new way of going about it or what, but it sounds absolutely horrifying to me. (I've had 46 surgeries but I have an irrational fear of needles). I feel SO badly for all of the healthcare workers who are unable to save these patients. I agree that they'll need therapy, akin to when you fought frontlines in an active war and now have PTSD.
DH & I used to have a primary doctor in Morristown. Great place for good medical care. I just can't imagine all of this.
