 Spelling practice for 8 year old DD. She goes over the letters with different colored chalk, for practice.š  DH built these with our 3 girls, for the squirrels.š |

You'll have to imagine this, but I just pulled my hair into a ponytail and colored my grey roots with Sharpies in the classic ROYGBIV scheme. Fancy. Now curious to see how long it will take to wash out. š

We had a Pub Crawl in our house for my ddās belated 21st birthday. Had 4 areas of our house with a theme. The first was a wine tasting outside. Then margaritas and mariachi music, chips and guacamole. We have a home gym so had the tv on a sports game with some bar food and beer and last was what we called Club Covid-the 90s. Had Friends frozen on the tv, 90s music, cosmos - and a few 90s inspired signs-Saved by Purell, Sick and the City, Everybody Hates āRona. It was fun!  |

Iām not very experienced in cake decorating. I was having trouble getting the frosting smooth on ddās Birthday cake and DH said it couldnāt too different from caulking so he stepped in. I did the rest with what I had in the house. Looks like a kid did it but oh well. Sheās 20 but loves rabbits so I put a giant chocolate Easter bunny on it. š¤£   |

I keep missing them eating there, to get a good picture!  I am also happy to report that my daughter enjoyed power washing so much, that she finished the driveway today!š |

I do not cook except for one meal a year - Thanksgiving. I am a terrible cook. But in the past 2 weeks I have made a bunny cake, an eclair cake, 2 Asian green salads and 3 pans of lasagna. And for the most part I have cleaned up as well, because I do not do dishes either.  |

Since Prom 2020 didnāt happen, my DD and her friends dressed up and had a Zoom prom instead. Her dress hadnāt been altered and she didnāt have her shoes but she had fun anyway! Attachments:

I got a power washer not too long ago and this was the first (nice) weekend I used it. Haven't had or used one in so long I can't remember. It's really satisfying watching it clean stuff. Some you didn't even realize were so dirty until it returned to it's original color, like a flip top Rubbermade (?) chest/bench I have.  I've power washed a lot of little things and have plans for more. DS came out half way through patio furniture I want to repaint. It is the expanded metal type that my mother had for years and years. He started doing some and couldn't help himself from continuing for quite a while. He was amazed at the different colors that were exposed. He didn't realize how old they were and how many times his Grandma had repainted them. And whoever owned them before her, knowing my mom's buying habits. (thrifty!) |
