Happy May, Peas!
As I mentioned on another thread, I've been putting together school years albums for my adult children. I have nearly exhausted my supply of school paper and embellishments. I never thought that would happen.

I've been making cards to send out as RAK's. Hopefully they will put a smile on someone's face AND it gets me to shop from my stash. I'm also going to start on Christmas cards for this year's swap.

Yay for May! I put together a kit and I’m hoping to get a lot of scrapping done for iNSD.

I am not scrapping but I posted yesterday that I was looking for a large organizational piece to keep me moving forward on organizing. I found a 3 piece bookcase/cabinet on facebook that I put in my living room. I am now in the process of moving many of DH's books from the wall to wall shelf in my craft room down to the new book shelves. That will free up several shelves in my craft space for me to store iris cases of product. I can only carry about 10 books downstairs at a time so it may take awhile. I will have to enlist DH in the process when I can catch him in the mood!
This month I want to get my page protectors all filled with product and photos so that the first crop that comes up I am ready to be super productive. I could sit on my bedroom floor and do quite a bit if the spirit moved me. But my bedroom contains my bed, which usually calls me for a nap. After the nap I don't feel like sitting there organizing. It's a vicious cycle!
I'll check back in to this thread if I make any progress.

I spent most of April scanning photo albums rather than scrapping as my mojo vanished early in the month. So far in May, I've managed five layouts and a card and I have another layout in progress - I went to pritn a title for it and discovered that my new computer only has Word online and that doesn't access my fonts (or if it does, I can't figure out how). So I'm downloading LibreOffice now.

Here’s something random. In March I did a page about my dgs feeding chickens. Figured out how to represent chicken wire with stencil and paste.
Yesterday I picked up a Sb kit and it has chicken wire—yes, WIRE—in it along with some gorgeous floral pp. what will I do with it?

Hello ladies! I love hearing about everyone's scrappy going ons.
So far in May I've:
Scrapped my March pandemic layouts, and put them in page protectors.
Scrapped two birthdays.
Scrapped Pi Day, St. Patrick's Day, & blossoms in spring.
I ordered April 2020 photos. They're due to be delivered May 15th.
And last night I placed an etsy order that includes paper, stamps, and embellishments to scrap boy, birthday, Easter, summer, Christmas, & Halloween.
I had finally stretched my stash to it's limit, using up the last little bits of birthday paper, using the same stamps for the fifth or sixth year in a row. It was time for some new blood. I can't wait to get my order!😀

Wow, LavenderLayoutLady, you have been a scrapping dervish! And what fun feeling good about replenishing your stash! It would take me longer than three days to hit the bottom of any of my supplies, I think (other than GLUE, which thankfully was replenished with my kit order that arrived Friday). To quote Lewis Carroll: "If seven maids with seven mops Swept it for half a year. Do you suppose," the Walrus said, "That they could get it clear?" "I doubt it," said the Carpenter, And shed a bitter tear.

OMG I made such a mistake. After I printed my April pictures I put a small piece of Washi on them with the date. BAD idea. Apparently pictures are the only thing Washi sticks to permanently. I just spent 1/2 hour with my undo cleaning the pics.

I scrapped a whopping three layouts from Friday night to Saturday night. I didn’t do any planning before iNSD so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. But I still had a lot of fun. I wasn’t thrilled with one of the layouts when I first started but I ended up really liking it. And I’m happy with the other two as well.
It’s been too long since I had a whole night and day just to scrap. I need to do that more often.

I’m really happy with my ‘progress’ I got all of the pictures that I impulse printed at a Walgreens sale scrapped. Finally! Lesson learned. Pre plan a little. Yes I had to ‘cheat’ by doing pocket style on a full page ( blocking) . I was too lazy to make my own pocket page protector with the fuse. Was just easier to stick the stuff on a background cardstock & call it good. But I’m super happy to have all the prints done & in. I’ll spend my ‘free’ moments planning pocket pages in my phone & I’ll have the photos in a separate file ready for printing.

Today i have two layouts from 2018 that I've been puttering with on my desk.
I also pulled some unfinished chipboard that I haven't been able to make work on any layouts in the past year or so, and stuck them in my giveaway box. Same for a few baby PL cards.

dald222 It sounds like you've been a busy bee! 😁 Your pages about your mom in her fancy dress, and about her roses & bird feeders sound lovely! And what a nice memory about the kids feeding the ducks. I bet you could scrap that memory with just a recent pic of your dd, & journal about her memory of it. Or you could get a picture of the lake (either take it yourself, or maybe even Google it) to use to scrap the memory.

I have a basket with envelopes of photos to scrapbook "someday". Well, it's someday, lol. I had a laugh at the dinner theater photo of me, DH, my BFF, and her hubby from 2004.

Hi Peas! Long time no chat! In May, I have made it a goal to do something creative/crafty/scrappy for at least 30 minutes a day. We found out yesterday that our school buildings are closed for the rest of the year but Elearning will continue until ?. I am so glad we have some certainity now with school. With that said, I am excited to scrap. It has been a while. I did get scrapping with Scrapbook generation group and Shimelle over iNSD so that was a nice kick in the tush I needed. I have been buying up a storm! Besides pre orders at ACOT I think I have 6 or more packages coming in the next few weeks. It will be nice to get new to me things especially since the Scrapbook Expo I usually go to for my birthday has been postponed and honestly I don't think I will go even when rescheduled.
