Did you ever get the Concord & 9th ink pads? Do you like them? I love the colours but I have found they suction onto my stamps, I guess because they are foam? Not an issue really, I guess mostly user error and lack of experience. Are they newer stamps you are using? I've found if I rub a white gum eraser across new stamps before applying ink, they don't have that suction problem.

I love the Catherine Pooler inks. I find them very vibrant and I love the foam pad. I haven't had to purchase any re-inkers, but I am sure I will as her stamps are 'juicy'. They really stamp nicely, even the first time. I am waiting for the Concord & 9th inks to be released and am going to invest in these as well. I think the colors are different enough from the CP inks that I am going to like both sets. Did you ever get the Concord & 9th ink pads? Do you like them? I bought the entire line of full pads on Concord and 9th, and absolutely love them. The colors are fantastic. I haven’t had issues with suction like you mention. They are a foam pad so you just lightly tap your stamp on them to ink them.

I think they're great, I just find the suction weird and pretty much all of my sets are new since I'm new to the whole cardmaking/stamping world so that would make sense. I'm probably pushing down a little harder than I need to also. I use MFT dye inks and have a number of Altenew colors too and The Concord&9th are the only foam ones I have.

I've found that I don't push as hard (and get ink around the edges of the stamp/block) when I dab the ink pad onto the stamp, rather than press the stamp into the ink pad.

Versafine , Archival and True Fusion are all favorites.
I ink the stamp by tapping the ink on it instead of stamping the ink in the stamp pad. Keeps the edges clean.

hey all! I am looking to invest in a new ink pad line and wanted recommendations for a brand that stamps crisp images. I always use Versafine black and gray but I need colors! I wish versafine would make a whole rainbow in the same formula! What kind of inks do you all prefer? Dye vs pigment and what brands do you love and recommend? I heard both Gina K and Altenew are very good. But also heard Altenew require reinkers early on. Any thoughts? I agree. Versafine is the best. I wish they offered more, too. They do under the Versa Clair ink line.
