I found an online store that has a surprising amount of OA paper from various lines, and other OA goodies. I am not affiliated with this store in anyway, I just stumbled across it mentioned in a YT OA haul video from last year. I may or may not have just placed a large order Starlit Studio

lilacgal, did you order OA from them? I was looking to see if they were selling "real" OA-I did send an email, but don't expect to hear back yet. I feel like I got really burned when I ordered a bunch of OA from Peachy Cheap and when I received it, it was flimsy, color quality was poor, ect..When I emailed Peachy Cheap, they explained that when OA went out of business, they sold the licensing rights to some folks, and essentially Peachy Cheap was printing their "own" OA. Needless to say, I was VERY unhappy they were not upfront about that, I just assumed they had bought out a scrapbook store or something that had some stock of it. So as much as I would love to load up from this store, I don't feel like I can buy it until I get confirmation that is not a reprint. Sorry if that is too "ranty"-I don't usually get my panties in a bunch over stuff, much more likely to let it roll...but passing off your sub par supplies as real October Afternoon ticked me right off.

Yes, it was real OA when I bought it. Beautiful 12x12 cardstock with the nice weight. It matched all my other OA in quality.

JavaJones, you are in big trouble, lol! Just kidding, but after getting an awesome email back from the owner letting me know that this was absolutely pristine condition original OA, I did place a fairly large order! This was justified by not being able to shop yesterday for Mother's Day, lol. So yeah, DH and the kids don't know it, but they bought me a significant amount of OA paper, lol~ lilacgal, thank you for your reply as well!

Thank you for the heads up! I just ordered 25 sheets to document my childhood. I grew up in the 70s and the papers are perfect.

Hmm, @kendramage , that is a good question. I don't really have one favorite paper, because they are all so beautiful, even the overly theme-y papers have great B sides. But I do have favorite OA lines, and try to collect all of the papers and embellies if I can find them (and at least 2 of each paper from my favorite lines.) My favorite OA lines, in no particular order, are: Public Library, Travel Girl (which I always thought was based on Shimelle and her travels ), 5 and Dime, Farmhouse, Farm Girl, Holiday Style, Rocket Age, and 9 to 5. What are your favorites? Editing to add: I LOVE the OA Mini Market and Sticky Keys alpha stickers. They are such a great cardstock weight, it's so hard to find good cardstock weight letter stickers anymore. I recently scored a huge lot of them on eBay from someone that was destashing--eBay is my OA (and Basic Grey) best friend

I love Sarsaparilla and Farmhouse. I also grabbed a couple sheets of the "boy" line (forget what it is called, maybe Boy's Life?) because it reminded me of Cocoa Vanilla Legendary collection. I was never much for stickers, and never got the alphas. But I did love all the little embellishments and cards so much. Not to wax nostalgic, but their warehouse sales...so much fun.

Oh yes-that blue-my favourite OA colour-closely followed by their lovely buttery yellow! Steve Duncan does still use some of those lovely saturated colours in his carta Bella lines And....the b sides...fabulous OA ....how do I love thee.....let me count the ways....😍😍

I went through a phase where I scoured the internet for OA, and found their website! The customer service was excellent and I had a little chat with the shop owner over email about OA! I pretty much bought one or multiples of everything they had in stock! I’ve been using it a lot and still love it as much today as I did 10 years ago!!

I have fond memories of weekend trips to Archivers and busting in the door to make a beeline for the OA area. Love!

I ordered some "OA" not to long ago from Peachy and sent them a really long letter on how poor the quality was.. not even Dollar Store quality. I said I understand they don't do returns but then they say 100% guarantee. I asked them how they were going to do that. They had me send the product back for a refund. I couldn't believe how BAD it was. "Sub par" is actually a compliment for the crap they sent.

I couldn't believe how BAD it was. "Sub par" is actually a compliment for the crap they sent. I totally agree. I am not sure who I am more irritated at, OA for selling their designs to someone who clearly could not guarantee quality, or PC for just printing garbage. In any case, I made it clear to PC that they had lost me as a customer, not just for the crap I was sent, but because they clearly misrepresented OA products and tried to pass them off as original OA items. In fact, it wasn't until about the 3rd email back and forth with them that they admitted they were not actual OA items. They said they "sourced" them. What a bunch of BS. I probably would have sent mine back if I wanted to make the effort, but I ended up donating it because I was lazy.

Normally I would have chalked it up to never buying again and keeping it, but I was SO irritated at HOW bad the quality was. They lost me as as customer as well. I will not take any chances again. It was fairly easy to return.. I just stuck it back in the packaging and wrote 'return to sender' on the front. I don't even care if I get the refund.

What with Covid, Shimelle no longer designing with AC, and my recent OA find, I have started hoarding sb supplies. Time to step back and use my stash!
