I don't watch Duck Dynasty so this is the first I've seen of Sadie. On DWTS she appears to be sweet and very talented and naive which is fine given her age.
I'm wondering if she is hoping this will be the start of her TV career outside of DD. She mentioned 15 cameras when filming DD as opposed to two or three on DWTS and she seems very comfortable with it.
Anyone seen her on DD?

She's not on DD too often, since she's still in school. Sometimes she's in scenes with the rest of the family for family activities. She's just as sweet and adorable on DD as she is on DWTS. I don't know if she has future aspirations for acting- it's never been mentioned on DD.

She is a very normal, down to earth, sweet girl. I've seen her tweets before too, and she is a very typical teenage girl! I love it!

I thought it was odd that she had to "go home to film duck dynasty" since she is not on the show *that* much. Maybe they were filming a promo or something.
I used to think the show was cute and I would try to ignore the bit of religious tones that would appear. But the whole thing with the dad really left a bad taste in my mouth, and while I think Sadie is cute, I kindof hope she goes soon, and I feel bad for mark having to deal with all these restrictions with someone who should be able to be wide open in terms of ability.

You are kidding, I hope. Every single on of those "stars" has other commitments. None of them are wide open in terms of ability (I'm guessing you meant availability). If you really meant ability, you must not be watching the same show that I am watching. Sadie is one super talented young lady. You do not have to waste your time feeling badly for Mark. He drew a long straw with Sadie.

I am not a fan of Sadie's, or anything related to Duck Dynasty (although I will admit to thinking the Christmas song one of them did with Luke Bryan was cute). I think there are other, more talented dancers on the show than her, yet she seems to be the one getting the most press.

Let's hope she doesn't turn into Miley Cyrus, who also used to be sweet and innocent.

We love Sadie (both on DD and DWTS) and vote for her each week. I think she's one of the top 3 dancers in the competition right now.

Her and Alfonso! Yup! They are both great and entertaining. What did you think about Sadie and Mark's critiques last night? Mark looked mad and I don't blame him. It's a show for a live audience. I want to see the proper dance moves AND theatrics. And it was Halloween week! I thought they were really fun & entertaining and was disappointed in their scores. Can Michael Waltrip please go now? Pretty please? WHYYYYY is he still there? Ugh.

With that said, I did catch Sadie and Mark and thought it was a really good routine and really fitted the show's Halloween theme! Yeah, I get that it probably wasn't what the judges wanted to see, but I was really entertained by their dance and thought several other Stars routines were really fun to watch. I thought the scores were insultingly low. And yes, please! Send Michael Waltrip home! Not only do I think he's an incredible bad dancer, he's not even fun to watch.

I agree on all accounts! And I am just tired of Len giving everyone low scores because "It wasn't a proper waltz". Think of how boring this show would be after how many years, if we always watched a "proper" waltz or a "proper" fox trot. I want to see, yes, the correct dance but I also love when its a fun performance, too!

But I like what the judge said about her sensual dancing that it was "age appropriate".

I like Sadie and hope she makes it to the finals. Part of the job of the pros is to choreograph to the star they are with. This can mean any number of things such as the stars ability, their convictions, or whatever. In Mark's case, he has to choreograph dances that are age appropriate for a 16 year old.
I am tired of Len giving low scores when there is "too much" (in his opinion) of the theatrics. I do remember one dance a few seasons ago that I agreed with him but that was because the couple didn't start dancing until about 30 seconds into their 1 1/2 minute routine. That was too much. I love much of the theatrics. This show has to appeal to a TV audience. I think from the reaction of the crowd after Sadie and Mark danced, they loved the performance. I did't see the show because they had Monday Night Football on instead since Dallas was playing. Usually Monday Night Football is on ESPN. I found Sadie and Mark's dance from the DWTS FB page (I think).

That's what I thought she meant too. Personally, I'm glad to see someone who doesn't abandon his/her convictions in pursuit of some big prize, and who demonstrates that you can still entertain without being overly sexualized.

I like Sadie. She's cute, she acts her age, she holds true to her morals, she dances well, and she's fun to watch. I don't think she's the best dancer left on the show, but she's certainly better (imho) than Michael or Tommy. This is a dancing contest, not a popularity contest. As much as I hate to see people stay based purely on fan base, I also hate to see someone (Sadie) judged because people disagree with her family's opinions and beliefs.

To me there is absolutely nothing wrong with Sadie having convictions she wants to stick to. Didn't Candace whatshername do that as well? It's a mix of all kinds of people with all kinds of convictions. I want to see the best dancer win, not the most popular.

I think you're right just like most other shows where the public votes. Why would Michael and Tommy Chong still be there if not for popularity.

Len lost all credibility for me the moment he praised that idiotic and unfunny gorilla suit dance Bristol Palin did --after years of yelling "rubbish!" to every hint of non-dance theatricality. After he did that, he can go suck an egg instead of criticizing entertaining dance numbers.

I love Sadie! I watch each week for Sadie and Alfonso. For me they are the two most entertaining to watch. I am glad she is holding on to her morals. It takes a strong person to do that these days. Michael is still on because of all the NASCAR fans. I am a huge NASCAR fan, but I have not voted for Michael. He should have been the first or second one to go. I am ready for him to go because I feel embarrassed for him

She has the ability, but I have noticed that mark has had to be very careful, and sometimes you can tell he is not happy about it. There have been other teenagers on the show who did really well without having to give up things that are just part of certain dances.

He's nice and all but really he can't move. I thought yesterday's voting was terrible. It was a HALLOWEEN themed night then they get bashed for going overboard? You are SO right, they are dancing for the audience and TV audience and ratings. If it was just the same old dance thing ratings would go down WAY more... it's all about the dance, themes, costumes, etc.

I loved the team dances, both of them. But I was watching Sadie's expressions as she danced and they were great. It takes talent to have the right expressions while dancing.

I'm so glad she's staying true to herself and her family's beliefs. I like the costumes that are pretty but not pornographic and the routines that are exciting and interesting to watch without simulated s*x on the dance floor.
