Maybe it's better that he isn't involved. All he's done so far is perpetuated the situation and escalated it. Surely to goodness there must be some way to get him out of office. It's five months away until the election, your country will be in the middle of a civil war by then if it carries on the way it is going now.

I'm sure Stephen Miller will write him a nice speech with some sort of racist reference phrases from the past. Trump will give the speech or the tweet or whatever, people will call him out on it, and then he'll say he had no idea that it was a racist reference. In the meantime, his supporters will be busily explaining to all of us that he didn't really mean what he said, and come up with some idiotic interpretation that has absolutely nothing to do with the words that came out of his anus-shaped mouth.

I can’t stop thinking about the tweet he put out yesterday (I think) referring to “vicious dogs” and young Secret Service officers guarding his fence. Now, this is a man who hasn’t uttered a sensible or cogent sentence in years, but this tweet was a special brand of deranged. It was so, so strange.

So, I wake up this morning and there is still no word from our impeached president about the devastation to our country last night. Unbelievable! There is no excuse for the anarchy that is happening throughout the United States at this time. We are living in a presidential vacuum. Where is leadership? Where is support? Where is the articulate orator who can help us heal and prevent further violence? We are doomed.  |

But people voted for Republicans, so...they refused to remove him. I know you did and I feel for you. But the ones that did vote should have a serious come to jesus talk with themselves and find a way out of all this - I won't hold my breath that they feel any guilt for doing so or that they are standing their ground in not taking any action now. I don't know how they sleep at night. |

He has spent years encouraging police to knock the heads of people under arrest and encouraging his rally attendees to rough up protesters. He’d best sit this out and let the grownups do the talking.

There’s such a void to be filled 😔 The governors and mayors are stepping up - first in the pandemic, now with the protests. Biden has been able to make some presidential-sounding speeches.
You get to the point where you see that if the local and state authorities are able to do a better job than the federal and than the so-called "president" - what is the point of having a president?
I would be fine if he just went to Florida and spent the next few months playing golf and tweeting (but give him a shadowban). Tell him he's such a great president that he doesn't even have to go in to work to make America great - so he can have a few months off as a reward. And just in case, maybe build a fake White House for him to come home to, but everyone can ignore him.

He's in the White House today/tonight, so I'm sure he's watching the angry crowds right in front of Pennsylvania Ave. I was sure that the non peaceful protesters were going to damage his D.C. Hotel. Instead, a building under construction there was set on fire. Makes me wonder if it's mainly the Proud Boys creating this dangerous distraction. |

A French newspaper I love were having a live chat about the protests in the US this weekend and people were literally asking the journalists were Trump was. Leadership, Twittership, whatever ship it is, Donald is not going down with it if it sinks, that's the only thing I'm certain of.  |

Did you know that Kevin Clash based the Elmo character on the 3 and 4 year olds at the daycare his mom worked at (or ran-I can’t remember the details from the elmo bio movie)? He did.
