That is terrible and so very wrong.
I just need to say that I was on the police thread, said what I felt there (no threats) and that I would never ever in a million years send emails like leowife received.

I’m going to hope that this Pea is just one of many lurkers and not a regular. Is that list made public or just to those in the swap (I never participated so I don’t read the threads)?

Bet the coward who sent it doesn't realize their IP address can usually be obtained directly from the email header information (and indirectly by a request/subpoena to the email provider) and that threats via email are a federal offense.

The email has been posted on this board, but everyone names and addresses are emailed to all participants. But the board is public. Anyone on the internet would have access then. Anyone. Anyone googling threads related to the riots and police situation could have come to the board. There has to be another way to handle that. It was almost just a matter of time before someone somewhere on the internet abused that. Can we at least get those lists off the board now? Who ever organizes it and posts them could go back and delete, unless it has been quoted by others. We really need those deleted. I'm sorry someone did that leowife. There are lines that should not be crossed. Especially if you want to believe you are the one doing the right thing. To be clear - I am certain the only email posted on the board was @leowife 's.
