If I were to post here the screen name of the person who tracked down and then posted my personal information on the board, I would be told by several members 1) to stop playing the victim and 2) to check my white privilege, take a step back, and reconsider tone policing another member on the board. If you really want to know who did it to me, it is all covered in the Amy Cooper thread, much as I loathe to drag that thread up as it turned into a bash-me thread. The person did it to me a year or so ago. She definitely was not banned for doing so - I have no idea if she received a warning from admin or not. Apparently, posting personal identifying information is not a ban-able offense here, so no point in wishing for it, even though it isn’t unreasonable to expect it. Elaine, I walked away from reading that thread for a variety of reasons. That said, I was PMed with the name of the person who posted your personal info. It was Olan. I'm so disappointed. I will never be able to think of her in anything but a negative way from here out. Normally I'd move someone to the "mute" list in an instance like this. However I don't think that would be effective. IMO she needs to be publically shunned by as many of us as are interested in trying to keep this a "safe" place to be. Blows me away that someone would go to all the effort to find out personal info about users here, and then post it. To what end? #Obsessive

I remember that thread, but didn't read it all. When it gets all high drama, I usually just tap out. I don't need that shit in my life.

I agree. I don't think those who are known to have multiple accounts here (cough, Lauren, cough) are the culprit. But I will be honest, looking down the list that I have from the Christmas swap, I am not sure I would suspect any of them so what do I know? She has posted Elaine's first and last name before. |

Obviously the board is (for all intents and purposes) unmoderated (totally up to admin and I respect that decision). While I understand that apparently it is not known who is harassing @leowife , I’d like to see the screen name of the person who posted elaine ’s personal info. I think most of us would. I’ll admit to being extra sensitive to what’s going on due to personal circumstances. If admin isn’t going to boot folks off for bad behavior, we, at the very least, need to shun them. I do not know what consequences she had (though, I suspect none) but I do know she has several 'names on this board. But anytime someone calls her out on the bullshit she has done, they get called racist and then have to endure an attack on the board. Ok. I just need to loosen my grip on my rose-colored glasses, and also pay closer attention I guess. I do pay special attention to the nice peas and the peas I have things in common with. Everyone else kinda gets lumped in together as regular Peas  Unless someone is outright rude on a non-political thread (I rarely read them), they don’t get to take up any valuable space in my brain. There’s enough garbage in real life to deal with, I come here to relax and enjoy myself. Hopefully that helps explain why I’m so dense on this topic considering how often I am here. Multiple user names, is this fact or speculation? If it’s fact, I feel that this too is info everyone should know about. Does anyone else? As a group, is there any interest in trying to figure out an effective way to deal with this? I’m just really bothered by the use of personal info here regarding leowife and Elaine...as well as in the past with anyone else. |

Simply because I don’t bow to your intimidation tactics doesn’t mean I didn’t feel threatened. You are a bully and because people don’t cower at your presence doesn’t make you any less the bully, it only means that you aren’t the best at picking weak targets. And, to the others reading this, see the confirmation of my prediction of what would happen to me if Olan was named as doxxing me. (See #1 of my predictions). That I laid it out there and she still couldn’t stop herself reflects how much of a one-trick pony her responses are. Anyhow, as y’all can see we have someone who is proud of doxxing here, doesn’t hide it, blames me for my reaction to it, and admin has done nothing of any consequence about it. I’ve just gone on assuming that is the low bar that has been set for behavior here and don’t expect admin to change. I don’t think she signed on to have to actively moderate a contentious board, so I don’t think that will change unless someone asks to take over/share moderating duties and admin is willing to share the reins (if she even can - I don’t know how that works with ProBoards). |

I’m shocked that anyone is shocked that a pea was dox’d. I guess I lost my “naive” virginity on 2 peas when Mrs Tyler’s personal info was posted and her work contacted. She was a class A asshole but that was so far over the line the line wasn’t even visible.
I’d NEVER share my personal info here hence the random pea name and never using my real name in conversations. Every time the holiday card exchange comes up, it amazes me at how many peas participate. I also cringe at how many peas are Facebook friends.
AN was a prime example of peas not really knowing who we’re dealing with. Little miss hard working level headed Ashley Nicole was a closet troll.

She was a class A asshole but that was so far over the line the line wasn’t even visible. I will admit that I actually have in my head a couple of people who come to mind that did this to Leowife. So much so that I went and looked at the last Christmas card swap list to see if their screen names were on there. They are not but that doesn’t mean anything to me. Anyone in this group could’ve gone and found the post about the Christmas card swap, found the email address that was used specifically for that, and then sent a hateful email.

I guess that depends on your personal experience with her. Mine was memorable - and not in a good way.
We are friends on FB. I try not to focus on how someone feels politically, but how they are as a human. I've seen her be nothing but kind. I can look past someone's political leanings and see them for more than that. It'd be nice if more ppl here could do that.

That must be a different person then. Apart from her political views she was (probably still is) a vile person. Horrible to people, myself included, would frequently make up nonsense, accuse people of things that were not true and gleefully side with Lauren in all her racist rants. Then there's the evidence of her own posts, supposedly at work teaching but posting up a storm here every few minutes, I pity those kids and all the education they missed out on by having a crappy teacher who couldn't take her eyes of NSBR for more than a few minutes at a time. Then there was the reference to "the Down's kids" she's taught. That phrase made me as angry as anything I've ever read on this board. Let's not forget her locking her son in his room and that he kicked the door so hard and for so long that the neighbours complained. Yeah, "kind" is not a word that comes to mind for that woman. |

Mrs Tyler...it's weird that story about someone calling her work, because she actually came on a public thread of mine on Facebook and I brought that up and she said that wasn't what happened. That she had trouble with people from the blog and that no one from here called her work. When I said that was the story I'd heard here, she flat out said it was wrong.
