So I am obviously psychic because I made a Felix Navidog card yesterday. Do I need to make something else to meet this challenge or does yesterday’s card count? I might make more anyway because I have a whole collection called the Muttcracker. Yes, any project you've shared this week counts, even if you had "accidentally" met a daily challenge posted after you showed us your card/LO! These challenges are as inclusive as possible: you can meet them in any way imaginable. Did you scrap a photo of a snowy landscape? Flurry of snow: ✓ Did you make a gift tag? Presents: ✓ And so on. Well, I'm glad that the Peas of the Xmas card swap were psychic enough to anticipate your prompts a year ago! I'm pretty sure I've accidentally met all the challenges in my card remaking I've got a Mele Kalikimaka card and a Feliz Navidog card in my pile

I'm behind on comments (of course) and will come back and get the ones I missed - probably Monday. grammadee - that's spectacular - love the quilt inspired designs I'm finally back at my scrapbook table - not a Christmas layout but a December 2018 nevertheless. Not sure if it counts as monochromatic or if there's too much grey - sleepingbooty ?

It looks like the thunderstorms are over for us here. After a day of bad weather, it's good to head into the night with the skies clearing up a bit. What an odd spring it has been... So much rain, thunder, cool temperatures and, obviously, that nasty virus. Here's to looking ahead to hopefully a better, warmer, healthier summer season! Catching up on leaving love for all the beautiful projects in here (rest of page 6): joblackford I think you're underestimating your work. Repurposing cards and turning them into a new batch is no mean feat. It takes vision, patience and genuine appreciation for what you've been given to accomplish such a project. Kudos to you! I love how that big pineapple card was turned into three regular-sized ones. Very cool deconstruction of the original pattern. The "peace + love" one with the wreath is such a pretty design! I can't imagine how much time it must have taken you to make all these. Ryann 'Paletas in the park' I love a good alliteration! What a fun LO this is: the dotty pattern paper with all those pops of colour, the DIY popsicles, the handdrawn faux stitching, the pretty clusters centered around the colourful strips! That tight blue matting was such a smart design decision: it's like a cloudy sky in reverse, just perfect to balance the cloudy blue sky in the photos. You did a marvelous job making your own popsicle embellishments (and picked the *perfect* colours to complement the pics). I hope this makes you want to try out watercolouring more often (a favourite of mine). It's such a versatile technique! justjac 'Muttcracker cards' How cute are these?... I love these little dogs. The background with the repeated sentiment looks great. Did you make it yourself? Wonderful pop of glitter to frame these, by the way. You definitely ticked off several challenges with these, Santa vocabulary included! 'Concert' Purple at Christmas is so unusual but also very pretty here. The gold foil, swirly elements and clean centre block of photos make this page such an elegant and refined statement. The diagonal disposition of the photos by size balances everything out perfectly. I love how you broke up things up a bit by including the banner and circle to journal on! It's that little touch of whimsy that gives it a je-ne-sais-quoi. Had to giggle at your mention of how it might be a fortunate thing you couldn't attend the concert... grammadee 'Water bugz staycation' This is super fun! I love that clean, white background filled with graphic elements and nooks to build the perfect frame for your pictures. What a neat idea to use the boys' scuba masks as your inspiration for the colour scheme! That middle section works like such a great large "hinge" to your double-pager and looks like a pool. Very cool! I'm absolutely in love with the floating gnomes, by the way. Cuteness overload. Amazing energy with all the splashes you've created. They came out perfectly. Did you use watercolours or inks + water on a plastic sheet for these? The blue glitter alpha Thickers are reminiscent of sunlight reflections on the water, too! The string of flip-flops "hanging" in the upper left corner is an adorable finishing touch.

I tried to work in my pandemic mini a bit today. The weather was so gloomy! I finished all my April pages, woohoo. Sharing the non-personal ones below. The personal ones are also not scrappy, mostly large 4x8 photo spreads. Random faves from early April featuring Haribo sweets (this pandemic was not good for getting my bikini body ): The simplest, least festive Easter ever, just the two of us, some fresh air and a bag of chocolate chicks : My favourite reads of April: Really, really long and interesting phone conversations with loved ones = pandemic silver lining:

I love how simple yet perfect your pandemic spreads are - you have a knack for 'just enough' sleepingbooty one more from me - also Decemeber 2018 - not Christmas. I don't think it meets any of the crop challenges

I don't really like how this one came out - not quite how I had envisioned it - but it's done and in the album.

Today I finished off what I started yesterday - stamped all the cards I’ve made for the Christmas card drive with a nice big sentiment inside. Took forever, even with the stamp platform. Thank goodness for Tiny Tim - it would’ve taken me a week without! But anyway, the 82 Christmas cards I made this week, plus the ones I made earlier in the year that I forgot to add sentiments to, for a total of 121 Christmas cards completely done! (I have no idea how to count points for this - I don’t feel like I should count the cards that were made earlier, that I just added a stamped sentiment to, as being done as part of the crop. I was thinking about this as being like an “other crafts” or organizing challenge and just counting the time. It’s a lot of points! grammadee do you have an opinion? If that makes sense) Anyway, here’s what I did inside. Several stamps, the sentiment was a bit too far right on the first ones I did so I added the holly swirls, which are from the same set as the smaller part of the sentiment. http://instagr.am/p/CBZUux3J3gS

I think that counting the time like you would for other crafts is a great idea, joblackford. If the details you added are specifically to meet sleepingbooty’s prompts, then take points for those? Your upcycled cards are totally awesome. I love that you donate so many of them

I always try not to cheat the team (either way, over or under stating the points) I’m so glad I found out about the Christmas card drives. I love to have a reason to make lots and lots of cards! I like my crafts to be useful and I don’t know enough people for all the cards I want to make.

Is it a patterned paper, or did you print it in all those pretty colours? To answer your question above, I used TH Oxides and an office transparency and lots of spritzed water to get those splashes on the background cs. It works really well with the Vicki Boutin mixed media cs, which is like a heavy watercolour paper. It still buckled a bit with all the water, but will flatten out in the album.

Linda, you continue to amaze me with your creative energy! Love all your pages, whether holiday themed or not. And you seem to be able to add just that final touch that makes each page special. I love the photos of the family in their phone conversations. Really emphasizes how we are still connected to family even if they are far away. Loving the deep cranberry reds and dark greens, and all the poinsettias. Do they grow where you live?

Current page love (part 1): grammadee 'Goodbye' What a gorgeous and striking monochromatic LO! Those wood patterns are beautiful and make for such an appealing backdrop to these fun photos. I love how you embraced the pattern design by "sliding in" the photo on the left diagonally to match the direction. Very organic! All the grungy elments you added add so much depth to your work. I particularly appreciated the inclusion of the compass in one of the banners to signal both departure but also the sense that home is wherever your loved ones are. PS: How wonderful that your family make deployment as happy and positive a goodbye as they can! It must be tough but I love the silly faces to lighten the mood and make it a less sad memory to cling to as they wait for him the return. Linda 'River' This is quite the elegant page! I love that you went for something understated and classy to complement the pretty river photos. The way you tried to contain the river pictures with the green mat and those strips of pattern paper give extra dramatic flair to the flooding situation recorded. Great little symbolic contrast play happening there... I love the river bend effect you got from adding the rounded corner journaling card at the top, by the way. 'Advent celebration' Great storytelling (about telling stories!) happening here with the block of photos depicting the event so clearly. I love the different POV approach showing everything happening around the table. Going with an understated pattern paper for the background was the right way to go so that the photos could take centre stage. My eyes naturally rested and focused on the lovely family gathering around the little book. Really appreciate your play on contrast with the white mat for the photos vs the black mat for the written section. These small touches really elevate your design and take it to the next level. Home and snow flurry challenge met, for sure! 'RSGA' First of all, yes, you're meeting challenges here and totally should give yourself the extra points: traditional colours, flurry of snow and song lyrics that I can tell straight away! I adore how you've included the classic Christmas colours into this LO although its general theme isn't seasonal. Great idea to bounce off the polo shirt's red colour to get some Yule colours going! Love the simple but effective look here: centre square of square photos, white and black contrast, word strips. It all comes together really well. From a photography point of view, the top left photo makes me giddy: perfectly shot right in front of one of the wolf's eyes. Very striking! 'Caroling - Feliz Navidad' Oh, that striped background is wonderful! Absolutely love your alternating pattern and the inclusion of red with the gold foil for the central stripe. Very pretty and elegant. You recreated the photo's main colours to perfection and the whole design flows just right. I like how you broke up the matching pattern by adding just a zest of fancifulness with the cheeky banner that refuses to be one of the stripes and the fun font for the title!

It works really well with the Vicki Boutin mixed media cs, which is like a heavy watercolour paper. It still buckled a bit with all the water, but will flatten out in the album. I love Distress Oxide + spritz of water on plastic to make splashes, too! *high five* It's such an easy way to get some colour down in a fun, unexpected manner. I'm sure the weight of your productivity will help flatten out the page in the album. You, Linda and joblackford have been so prolific in your creating this week, I'm impressed. sleepingbooty, your pages are beautiful. So clean and simple and elegant. Love that script. Is it a patterned paper, or did you print it in all those pretty colours? I'm using my stash of Kelly Purkey goodies. The patterned papers are from a Traveler's Notebook kit I'd bought on sale last year. Supplementing with physical quarantine goodies I bought from her in May. Trying hard to use her stuff because I have a feeling I'll otherwise hoard it all once she closes up shop (probably later this month). Thanks for the kind words.

I'm out of adhesive, ladies! I was on the last bits of my final roll and here we are... Sad day! I did manage a few more pages in the mini albums I've been working on this week before we got to this adhesive-less point. I can't find acid-free double-sided clear adhesive easily in my country so I usually order it from SB.com. Sigh, I'm not sure I'm ready to pack scrapbooking up for however long it'll take to be delivered in these odd times. I'm using the Ranger multi medium matte to adhere some word strips at the mo' but it's turning into a labour of patience, especially as I'm working on longer journaling pages. I don't have the chill vibes of the serial killer kind to do much more tonight than what I've done so far...

I'm going to do some housework and then move onto a bit of pandemic album work, but on this sunny Sunday morning in June (a nice break from the dull rain) I wanted to share a Christmas miracle - my poinsettia is not only still alive, it's growing big new leaves! I bought 2 last December and the other one died in Feb as usual, but this little guy is thriving. I have no idea why http://instagram.com/p/CBbHoFrA9qd
