I'm a fitbit drop out... need to start up again Me, too. I really need to get back on the fitness bandwagon. I gained back all of the 20 pounds I lost previously, and I haven't been to the gym in quite some time.

If I join the group, what information do the other group members see? Can they see all of my information or only my workouts? You can set the privacy settings so that only you can see everything or you can show friends or anyone. I have everything private except my achievements, steps & distance, floors climbed and very active minutes. And my friends can see who else I'm friends with. That's it. But everything else is hidden. Thanks Miss Ang!! I will go find the groups mentioned here. I am a loner when it comes to working out but it helps if I need to be accountable and being in one of the groups might help with that. One thing I have noticed with my fitbit............it is off a little with my distance. I also use Map My Fitness and since it is mapping my exact walk, I feel like it is probably more accurate. My Map My Fitness updates look kind of sad. I downloaded it about a year ago but then rarely used it until the last few weeks. I just got my 50 mile walk after a year and it sent me a badge telling me I was awesome for that great accomplishment. LOL

I just bought one but haven't set it up yet. I've recently started walking 1.5 miles per day...that's a long way from 10,000 steps, but it's a start! 1.5 miles is nothing to sneeze about We'll support everyone and get us all moving more! ~ Dori ~

OK, I joined the group (Walking and PEAing) and am currently at #68 for the month of June. Not too bad since I didn't start using a Fitbit until June 16th. Also, I don't wear it all the time on weekends. I am too many places where it can't be worn so I mostly wear it during the week..........which is also when I workout.

I love my fitbit, it's a great motivator. I joined the group. My steps are way down this week since I've had a cold & have been using that as an excuse to skip the gym...

I have a Fitbit that I need to use more often. If we are going to be challenging one another I will charge it and be back with counting steps.
