Do you put make-up on if you are not going anywhere?
When I was growing up, my mom worked outside of the house, but even on days that she stayed home all day, she had her make-up on. It was many, MANY years before my father saw her w/o make-up on. It was the first thing she did so it would be on when my dad got up.

I work from home. If I am not leaving the house (which is rare because I usually have activities after work), I don't put on make up. Or I might not put on make up until right before I leave.

I sure don't. I am a natural girl and prefer to wear none. I do wear it every day at work though.

I work from home and I put on a bit of makeup each day - undereye concealer and mascara. Oh, and lip gloss. I do my hair every day and get dressed (not athletic wear). I'm not shlumping around - I just don't feel the need to put more stuff on my skin than necessary on a daily basis. My skin appreciates it too

Currently not working...no make up. And, when I leave the house, it depends on where I go it I put make up on or not. Grocery store? No make up. Meeting girlfriends for lunch? Yes make up.
I don't know if this is something I made up or not, but I swear my skin looks better when I don't wear make up everyday.

I used to work part time from home, and on those days I still did my face and hair. it's part of feeling professional for me. on days that no one is coming over, and I'm not leaving the house I still will do my hair to a lesser degree and put on mascara at the very least. just makes me feel better.

I don't wear makeup when I am at home and will only be seen by my family. Lucky for me my husband has always preferred me in my 'natural state'.
If we are entertaining at home or I am going out I will put on some makeup.

I'm a SAHM and just working on school. I've found that I start to feel kind of crappy if I hang out in yoga pants all day or skip doing hair and makeup. It's a hard feeling to describe. Unhappy and uncomfortable, I guess.
I think DH likes the fact that I'm dressed and made-up every day when he comes home, but I doubt he would care if I stopped. I just do it for me.

I do hair and make up everyday. It is who I am and always will be. And really, NO ONE wants to see me without. My DH, children and grandchildren have all seen me without make up but not many others.

No, only if I'm actually going into the office, or I'm going to see people.

Not currently working, I sometimes put makeup on if I'm not going anywhere but I don't always. After all this time I don't think my husband minds seeing my natural face though he always notices when my makeup is on and tells me I look nice.

I work from home and only put on makeup when I go somewhere. I sometimes will do my hair, though, because I have weird hair that has to be done one day if I want it to look good the next day without washing it again.

I wear make up if I feel like it; doesn't matter what I'm doing. It's usually just foundation.

Yep, I wear it everyday whether I am going anywhere or not. It's just part of my routine and I feel better when I look like myself not what I look like when I roll out of bed.

I've worked from home full time for almost 6 years now. If I'm not leaving the house, I don't even get dressed, let alone put make up on!

I work outside the home and don't wear any. I wear makeup maybe once/twice a year.

Yes but it's not as much on the days I work. Just eyeliner and mascara, no face makeup.

I wear make-up almost every day. If my kids come home and see that I'm not wearing make-up, they know I'm really not feeling well. I find that I get more done if I get up, get dressed, and get completely ready for the day. If I stayed in yoga pants with my hair pulled back and make-up not done, I would feel like sitting on the couch all day watching TV or reading.
I'm one of those that even puts on a little make-up when we are camping. I'm just more comfortable wearing it.

I do my hair and make-up every day, whether I go to work or not. I may wear yoga pants when I'm at home, but I always have hair and make-up done. I have to feel pretty sick in order for me to not doll myself up. Seriously, I love make-up, so it's a pleasure to put it on.

I always wore make-up everyday. Then when I got to be about forty I started having allergy problems with it. Spent a fortune on special make-up but nothing seemed to work.
So now my face goes naked at all times. I can't even use cleaners or creams without breaking out in itchy bumps.

When I'm feeling really bad, I don't wear any makeup.
When I feel normal--for me--I wear mascara, moisturize my face, put on Estee Lauder Idealist to give my skin a nice glow and extra moisture, and rub in a bit of cream blush. I only wear foundation when my undereyes are really dark or my skin is not even.
I've only recently started wearing blush more--dh says I look more healthy, if I don't wear it, I look like Caspar the ghost. I don't like dh being able to look at my face and see exactly how sick I am. He has so much to worry about already.
I finally got my hair cut and coloured yesterday. I now have a very short cut after letting my hair grow shoulder length. I feel so much more like my old self, and the colour gives my face more glow and warmth.
I wear mascara because my eyelashes are incredibly long, and they bother me when I wear sunglasses or are visible in my line of vision. Mascara helps them curl out of the way.

I'm a SAH homeschooling mom.
I don't leave the house without makeup on unless one going to workout.
If in staying home all day I don't put makeup on bc I wear expensive makeup and putting it on for being at home seems like too much of a waste for me.

I work at home, and usually wear my foundation -- it has my sunscreen in it. It depends on when I'm walking the dog or going to the gym for the rest. I hate working out with full makeup; it feels gross when I sweat.

That would be me, too. I have to get dressed as well. It may just be yoga pants, but I cannot stay in sleep clothes all day.

I'm just a mascara & eyeliner gal.
I tend to put it on every morning, unless I have no plans to really go anywhere.
But I'd say 90% of my mornings I do my eyes.
I only bother with full makeup (powder, blush & eyeshadow) when we are going out with friends. And I never wear liquid foundation.
