I have been going through my stash over lockdown, and have got an 18 inch pile high of paper to de stash. I am giving a lot of it away to an acquaintance who loves to scrapbook, but is very strapped for cash, so I know she will give it a good home.
You name it, it is in the pile to go. Basic grey, cosmo cricket, studio calico, prima, scenic route, rusty pickle, 7 gypsies, junkitz, Anna griffin, daisy ds, crate paper, graphic 45, fancy pants, bo bunny....and lots more.
I have asked the intended recipient about the types of designs and brands she loves, so I can get a feel for what she might like, but she just says she would be happy with anything !! This lady is in her early 30s with young girls . She has given me colours she likes, but I am sure she will not want just orange and grey !! Do you think I should just go with a few different brands....there are full collections in there, as well as studio calico kits which have been mixed in with everything else. There is too much to give it all to her....as I have to post it.
Is there any types of paper or brands you think I should NOT put in? There is a lot of paper that is that quite thin paper they used to make....do you think that people would still be happy to use that? or is the more sturdy paper preferable.....having scrapped for over 20 years I would not mind, because that was all we could get in the early days, and the thicker paper we had to pay extra for, these days everything is the more heavyweight isn't it?
( The rest is going to my daughter for her kids to use at home, at school and kindergarten)
What designs do you think are classic? I have a heap of vintage paper for some reason....just loved that 7 gypsies vibe back in the day ! Not sure if they are as popular today or not.
