That is a very common rope pull knot for garage doors.
I have seen them in shops, on a garage pull at a gymnastics center, at a high school shop class, at storage units...
That wasn't the only garage to have that type of handle/tie system.
Yes, it was the only one in that NASCAR garage to have that type of rope. Verified by NASCAR and the FBI, who examines every garage stall.
To be clear, it wasn’t fashioned that way as a threat to Bubba, but it was different than the rest and warranted further investigation.
