I think the Sapphire would be really pretty with that collection, but of course it's the only colour that is sold out.

I think it depends on the photos. Are they primarily sightseeing/beach, etc., or mostly from the wedding? And if the latter, was the wedding formal or more casual? I agree that the Sapphire would be great with the papers in that collection, or the Goldenrod. The Peony is a cool-tone pink that would work, if you like that color and you use more of the pink pieces in the collection. The Charcoal Gray is a nice neutral that would also work. What a fun project!

Calypso or Flamingo would be my choice - I would just love the pop of colour where the material wraps around to the inside against those pretty papers.
Flamingo is the less bright of the two, so it would probably be really nice against wedding photos, too.

I am going to be working on my next travel album - a long weekend trip to Santa Monica / Los Angelas from 2018. I will be using Crate Papers Sunny Day collection as the majority of the papers. The trip itself was for a wedding of our dear friends. I am doing 3x8 album, and am thinking of using a Citrus Twist album. What color do you think would work well? I am planning on using all the papers except the swimming ladies paper. So what color gets your vote? Or am I better off painting a spare 3x8 Ali Edwards linen album? View AttachmentCitrus Twist albums are not 3x8

Oh wow...I love those papers and those albums! I want them all.
My vote is for Flamingo or Clementine.

My first thought was one of the pink colors. But, if you have an aversion to pink, I really like Clementine also! It's in the papers but it's not an overwhelming color! BTW-love that paper collection! So pretty!

Hmmm....I just bought the Calypso album for our CA trip last year, not sure what papers I am going to use yet, but we took lots of beachy and outdoor shots so I think it will work well. From this snapshot of the Sunny Days papers it looks like the Calypso color would work, too

I've used Sunny Days so I'm going into this with that bias: Calypso, Clementine or Goldenrod.
I would make my final choice based on the actual photos and the cardstock pre-pulled to make the project happen. Clementine would fit really well with Sunny Days and is an unusual colour in the SB world. Goldenrod gets overlooked while it's a very versatile colour that works well with many themes without being overpowering. Calypso is the obvious ocean, beach-side choice.

I agree with sleepingbooty about letting the pictures inform your final decision. That said, my vote would be for Clementine, Calypso, Flamingo, or Turquoise. They all work well with those papers (love the paper choice, BTW!) and they're all beachy!

I vote definitely Calypso. It screams ocean, sun, casual, airy, but grounded. I have the album, and I love the color.

Big Life Crafted Album fan here. I fell in love with these albums when I had a hard time finding 9x12 albums for PL. I'm not a pink person so I don't have Peony, but here are some of your other selections with the Sunny Days pad. IMHO the only one that doesn't quite work is Clementine...

I like Calypso but a lot of the colors would look great. I also like the grey that a poster above mentioned. That would put all of the focus on the layouts and pics.

Did you share pics of your album? I love the Sunny Days collection! Did you like the quality of the album? I have one in my cart and am wondering if AE page protectors work in them? I had a 3x8 to use for a travel album but I want to be able to include the playbill from Hamilton and I am thinking it would fit in the 4x8 album.

I had a 3x8 to use for a travel album but I want to be able to include the playbill from Hamilton and I am thinking it would fit in the 4x8 album. I never photographed it! It has a ton of photos of friends of ours, who are insanely private, so I didn't want to put them 'out there'. I loved the album. I got a ton of memorabilia included in it. What the dimensions of the playbill? I will measure for you tomorrow. My only complaint is that I found it harder going back and forth between the 4x8 page protectors and 3x8. I already had a bunch of 3x8 photos printed and had to work them into it so I mixed the protectors.

I already had a bunch of 3x8 photos printed and had to work them into it so I mixed the protectors. Yeah this is my only thing about the album too - it's designed for TN size, so if you want to include 3x4 cards you'll need to use a different page protector size. The album itself is such a nice size that it doesn't bother me, but I do find you have to use a mix of page protector widths in it, which may bother some people.
