Holy smokes, Batman. I ordered photos Friday am (in the wee hours of the morning) for a mini album I want to start this week. Im in Texas, PP is in Utah.
I GOT MY PHOTOS TODAY.
I was really expecting it would take until Wednesday or so...but nope! I had them in my grubby little hands by noon, today!
...and the quality? I just love them!

I've ordered from them in the past and never had an issue with them being short.

Oh yes! They are my go to for enlargements. I just ordered some 4x8 prints for a TN. I am always pleased with their service. Fast and the quality is great. I really love the free printable COVID timeline they have right now. Ordered that too for my WITL album.

Good to know! I ordered some photos from Costco a week ago and I haven’t even gotten tracking on them yet!

I am usually happy with local cvs but I also had pictures darker than on computer or colors oversaturated. I ordered from mpix and got true colors on the prints but they are more costly. Is persnickety good quality because of true colors of the prints?

Is persnickety good quality because of true colors of the prints? Persnickety Prints are very close to MPix quality(who I also use and love). The colors are true. The advantage for me, with PP, is I can get 3x8 and 6x8 sizes and last time I looked at Mpix, I couldn't.

I use them exclusively. I do not like printing from home and really like both their quality and size options.

They are the best. I am always so much happier when I order from them instead of printing from home. I need to do it more often. I've only done Costco once and CVS once and both times my photos turned out terrible. I never ordered again. I've heard can very if you go to other locations but I'm a bit too lazy to do that when I know PP will turn out perfect every time. The fact that 12x12 prints are still only $1.99 is amazing.

Does anyone happen to know what their price for 4x6 prints are? Thank you! orders.persnicketyprints.com/PricingI get them cheaper though. They will run sales through out the year where you buy 'x' amount and get a super great deal. Then you can use the photo credit whenever you want. I usually buy a print credit on Black Friday. I just looked. I bought a credit for 200 photos and paid $30. Credits never expire. I usually print my own 4x6 and 3x4 at home for Project Life, and every day layouts. But for albums, I typically order from PP.

I'm glad to hear your review. I have their website saved, and have been intending to try them.
They have photo booth strips, that I can upload my photos to. When I am ready to scrapbook a class reunion from a couple years ago, when I took many, many, many photos, I have an idea in my mind to do several photobooth strips along with some polaroid style frames that I got at Michaels. We had a faux "photo booth" at the reunion. No actual booth, just a bench seat with lots of props in our School colors, where many photos were taken.

I appreciate this review. I’m definitely going to try them out the next time I need to order. I ordered some prints from Shutterfly recently and it took over a week just to get them shipped, and it looks like it’ll be another week in transit. I’m still waiting. Absurd.

I know its cheaper to use other places but man, PP quality and customer service is 1000% better. IMHO for photos you really want to use on projects that you're gonna want to keep forever, they are the way to go.

Are their photos glossy or matte? It looks like there isn't a choice on their website. I contacted them via their chat but the only thing the chat could tell me was that they use Fuji Crystal Archive paper which is what I was hoping for-it lasts at least a 100 years.

On 4*6 you can choose which finish you want. But 3*8 and 8*8 they only have a matte option. I can’t speak to the other sides as these are the sizes I buy. After you upload the photos, a screen pops up and asks which finish you want. So have a metallic finish for some sixes I believe.

I tend to use 4x6 the most since I use my Nikon DSLR almost 100% of the time, and a 4x6 photo means I don't have to crop anything out-what I see in my viewfinder and shoot is what I get. An 8x12 photo is the same, and I think maybe 5x7's are too-it's been so long since I got any photos printed that I don't remember. I do know that if I get an 8x10 printed they have to crop out a lot to get that size. In college in my first photography class we were taught to "crop in the frame" of the camera and not allowed to crop our photos after we took them. That lesson has stayed with me for 40 years so I rarely crop my photos after they are shot in the camera. Thanks again.

They are running 19 cent prints (4x6 or 3.5x5) today.
Is this the lowest print price they typically offer for a sale? I just ordered a bunch and would wait if a better (black Friday) price is typical.

I use Persnickety and scrapping simply to print my 12 x 12 digital scrapbook pages. Both have excellent quality and fast service. Both have good sales several times a year where you can stock up on print credits.
