A little early for NA Peas, but AussieMeg and Chinagirl828 may be able to use it on THEIR Saturday... June 27th Sketch by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This sketch is from this month's Page Maps. I chose it because I was looking for a way to scrap a 5x7 fathers' day photo my ddil had sent me of ds and his kids. The left page here is my take on the sketch. I ended up using a woodgrain background instead of the white space on the sketch, but I added to kraft to stand in for that and support the doodled border. Hangin out & hugs by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Thanks, grammadee! What a great sketch and a fabulous take. That rainbow behind the family in the photo is awesome.

Thanks, grammadee ! What a great sketch and a fabulous take. That rainbow behind the family in the photo is awesome. They had a HUGE rainstorm on Fathers' Day. I am glad my ddil got the photo of them outside with the rainbow in the background. When facetiming our other ds's family that evening, their boys kept talking about the rainbow they could see out their window. Our two sons live about 20 miles apart.

How cool that they got to have a shared experience so far apart.

Here is mine. Your timing with this sketch was impeccable grammadee ! I had started this layout, but had only got as far as putting the three photos on the page, and then couldn't decide what to do for the background. As soon as I saw your sketch I realised that it would be perfect for this page. I used the 'A New Normal' kit, which is a collaboration from The Digital Press, a couple of elements from the 'Boy Zone' kit by Bella Gypsy, and the stitched border is by Laura Burger from the 'We Are Family' kit. Thanks for the inspiration!

This is a great sketch! I’m saving it because I know what pictures I want to use but they aren’t printed yet.

Great way to apply your style to this sketch, Linda! Perfect pp for the photo. Makes sense to use it for all the panels!
