I've gotten my monthly pandemic timeline/journalling pages caught up (Jan-June) and I'm working on April 2020 layouts - and once again, I'm missing a photo, sigh. And of course I ordered photos yesterday. I've made a note and will order (hopefully) with next Tuesday's batch

linda Awesome that you're caught up on pandemic layouts. I'm waiting for my June photo order to arrive. I, too, realized that I forgot to order a couple pics from the end of June AFTER I ordered the pictures. I'll try to remember to order them when I place my July order.

With being at home all the time, anyone else running out of photos to scrapbook? I am starting to document some simple pleasures, as well as some old photos. I adopted a cat. Problem solved. 🤣

I received an order of glue glider refills from Amazon, so I am a happy scrapper. I made a birthday card today, and need to put together 3 more this month besides 4 or 5 anniversary cards. If I create only one per day, this may take awhile! Dd is getting a new puppy this month, so I see some puppy pages in my future... I have doggie files I can send you!! Bwwhahahaha!! DD keeps me supplied with those!

I still need to prepare the photos for printing from our March 2019 Punta Cana trip, just need the mojo. I haven't had photos printed in almost a year, so need to go through some other pictures to have printed as well. Despite not printing photos for so long, I still have plenty available to scrap, but it would be nice to have some "fresh" photos to work with. I get bored & like to have options to work with, which is why I don't scrap chronologically.
I had a socially-distanced crop at the end of June and did the last of the pics I had for my brother's childhood album that was from birth to 4 years old. After sorting through some boxes from my mom's recent passing, I now have more that need to be scanned. I never did get my childhood pics scanned, but that isn't happening any time soon. This is one of the projects that I do in 8.5x11, which has been a refreshing change-up from 12x12.
Hopefully I'll get something accomplished in regards to photos by the end of the month. I have drastically cut back on my scrappy shopping, but do have a couple smaller orders from ACOT that I'm waiting for. They all have pre-order items. One order is from May, darn Doodlebug Confetti sprinkles is holding up that one.

I have 2002-2008 photos to scrap. Ha. I do need to order some from off of my phone. When Sam's stopped printing last Oct. it ruined my printing/planning/creating style.

Decluttering mojo had me pulling everything off the top of my tall cube storage, dusting it, and putting only some back up there.
I put my Stickles in a drawer instead of displaying them on the cubes. Tossed the decorative bowl they were in.
Poured the last of my Prima tiny flowers into a sandwich Ziploc bag, to store with other embellishments, and tossed the plastic container that held them.
I have a magazine holder that i stick papers, kid drawings, pamphlets, etc, that i might want to include in my albums. I finally went through it today. Two choices: Put paper in a sheet protector & in album, or toss. Holder is now empty, I tossed a lot more than I thought I would.

I have 2 stamp orders coming today. And I don’t want my DD judging what I’m buying 😯 I’m so not used to having to justify anything I’m buying.
But I’m trying to buy from small businesses 😉
Not like I need my DD’s permission, but I’m not really in the mood for any silent judgement I may or may not receive. Lol I got used to my freedom over the last 2 years.

I got a (small) photo order today - with photos for the last 3 May layouts and the first 2 July layouts.
So that's next on my agenda - I've already gotten one of the May ones done. Once all 5 are done, then I'll switch back to the April photos

Well thanks to my prepping last weekend and my first 3 days of Furlough: May 2020 PL is done. June 2020 PL is done December 2019 PL is done ( not super excited about my last page but it’s done if I want to grab it later and embellish more so be it if not fine ( I do this all the time in my memory planner ) Speaking of which, my memory planner is up to date My positivity passport is also up to date.
Today I’m gathering & prepping photos for July- August 2019, if I have time maybe I’ll throw June in there too. ( Sept/Oct/Nov are already done don’t ask why I went backwards but skipped Dec I don’t know ) so I’m ready for this weeks Furlough days.

Today I organized my June pandemic photos, trimming the meme screen shots, etc.
Tomorrow I hope to work on assembling the layouts, or at least starting to.
I also took summery photos today of my younger kids running through the sprinkler.
ETA:
I laid the foundation for my June pandemic layouts. Just three pages.
First page: June-specific memes, screenshot of state entering Yellow phase, a pic of an unused paper mask with my work name badge on top of it, because furlough was over & I went back to work, and info about mail in ballot voting, plus a journal spot.
Second page: the first time I took the kids out after Stay At Home order was lifted.
Third page: a screen shot of the announcement that there would be a travel ban on Americans traveling internationally, and a bunch of memes.

I had a rather productive weekend scanning old photos. I scanned over 300 photos spanning from 1960's through the mid-1990's. It took a lot longer than normal since all those photos were a mix of different sizes. I think the ones from my childhood in the 70's were the hardest.
I didn't think I'd get to my childhood for some time, but I was on a roll & went with it. I only had a few of DH's childhood photos, so I knocked those out, too, along with a few of my mom & dad. There may be some straggler photos that need scanned, but I have the bulk of them done.

Awesome susancinpa - I bet it feels good to have that accomplished I found another layout's worth of photos in FB chat that I never downloaded or ordered while looking for the caption for the photo I was scrapbooking. So I guess May isn't quite finished. Thankfully it'll be a double page layout so easier to add

I finished the three June pandemic layouts today, and started my June civil unrest layouts. Those focus on the actual happenings from my neighborhood. The broken store windows, boarded up businesses, burnt out cars, blown up ATMs, etc. Lots of journaling written those days/nights. Hearing the explosions, and the helicopters. Listening to the police scanner.
Later this week I'll focus on the brighter side of June, including a water balloon fight.

Placed my mpix order over lunch today. Over 300 prints ordered, some are doubles as I wanted to put some of our parents' pictures in both my brother's album and the one I want to start for myself. Now I hope to find some spare moments to get some pages prepped/supplies organized. I don't want to wait for m next crop. That would be in October, if we're allowed to have it. My next big photo project will be to organize/print all the photos from our 2019 Punta Cana vacation. I know there are several that I want to use Photosheet to put 2-4 pics on one 4x6, so that takes some time to work through. But that's a project for another month.

Today is a happy scrap stuff day!
The two albums I ordered were delivered today, a week early! 😁
I already put my pandemic layouts in one.
While I was in Dollar Tree, I found two different WRMK Albums Made Easy (PL-type) card kits, and five different PL card packs.

I'm plugging along with the SG class. I'm loving all the extra optional sketches she's giving us every week because sometimes the main sketch just doesn't work for me.

The other day I got our regular Tuesday shipment of Hello Fresh along with two scrappy orders. He saw me go out and get the boxes on the Ring app and never questioned anything else. He gets a fair amount of orders and I have stopped asking him though.
