Pluto's Canada Day Video
So, I was learning a little more about Canada from Pluto. He mentioned ketchup chips. Never heard of them, never seen them here in Minnesota but they are available on Amazon. Worth a try?

Not my fave but enjoyable! Quite tangy. I generally give them to American friends when visiting and they’re always appreciated.

Dont love them. Haven’t had them in many many years but worth the try once. Some of my family loves them and can’t believe they are not available world wide. Lol. Like Ashley said they are quite tangy.

Menards carries Herr’s Ketchup Chips. They are very sweet to me. A little go a long way. I’m guessing the Lay’s are totally different since the above posters say the Canadian chips are tangy.

I love ketchup so I might have to search these out. Bet they'd be good with a bacon ranch dip.

They will taste different across different brands. I strongly dislike any of the brand name ones, but have several bags of the no name brand from my local grocery store. I find they aren’t as strong flavoured as the brand name.

I haven't had them since I was a kid and my kids never ask for them, so I'll say no. All our cash and junk food calories belong to Hawkins Cheezies.

I’m pretty much an equal opportunity chip eater but would pass on ketchup. All dressed are way better, salt and vinegar are my favorite of the flavors but I love the saltiness of plain above all others.

Which brand is on amazon?
I love ketchup chips but I didn’t know they weren’t available in the US until the peas told me.
To me, they taste similar to quacker mini rice cakes garden tomato.

My favourite. I only buy Old Dtuch or Lays because that's what we grew up with and what our small town store carries.

Here we dip chips into ketchup. (And Mayo!!)
I’d rather have that than chip dip!

My fave chips ever are Lay's Ketchup potato chips!!! I have lived in the U.S. for over 30 years and I miss those babies, eat more than i should every time I am "back home." Almost always have some for the return flights too.
HATE the dark red food dye they put on them though!

Have never seen that at our TJ's in Cali but I would love that. Have you heard of All Dressed chips? I've only seen them in Canada but they're like a combo of S&V and BBQ. Yum.

Trader Joe’s has a very tasty chip bag called Patio Chips and ketchup chips is one of the flavors in it - ketchup, dill pickle, sea salt and vinegar, and bbq are all in one bag of yumminess! Those are called Storm Chips here, and are especially popular in the Maritimes. I like the idea but the bag I bought had too many broken chips and crumbs. Why is it that large, intact potato chips taste the best? 😄

I’ve never had the ketchup ones, but I liked the All Dressed when I tried those. I also like dill pickle chips, but don’t know that I’d eat a whole bag.

My friend from Canada brought us Ketchup Chips and Smarties on a girls trip. I loved the smarties and was just eh on the Ketchup chips, so I sealed them up and took them home to my son that loves ketchup and he loved them.

Samboy has a flavour called Atomic Tomato, which is think is similar to the ketchup flavour. Smiths Chips also had a limited edition flavour called "Snags and Sauce" (sausages and ketchup).
There was a limited edition flavour recently called Lamington. A Lamington, for those who don't know, is a popular Australian cake covered in chocolate and coconut flakes. So a potato chip that tastes like cake. Ummmmm, no thanks!
Some other limited edition flavours: Teriyaki Chicken Sizzling Beef Gravy Prawn Cocktail Vegemite Smokey Bacon Garlic Bread Lamb & Mint Mac 'n Cheese Grilled Pepper Steak Grilled Chicken with Lime & Chilli etc etc etc

22? 23? Years ago, dh was going to visit his best friend who was living in New Jersey. Bf’s wife was pregnant and all she was craving was Old Dutch chips—ketchup, salt and vinegar, and dill pickle. Dh could fit all he needed for a weekend visit in his carryon, so his ‘luggage’ was a hockey equipment bag filled with chip bags. The drug dog in the airport went nuts at his bag—not alerting that there were drugs, but not wanting to leave it alone until she got a treat 😆
