Shady as f!ck.
Where is his wife in all of this? and why is he defending his x-wife? Or is she the baby's mom? And why didn't he call LE?

Even his word use in the post is odd. Curious.

Well that’s a relief. Very glad she is safe. But Now I have even more questions. And his tweet. Wtf. He didn’t even inform the police she was missing. “Hey Travis. First off, this is not a Durham police matter. Secondly, should the police maybe call me first once my child has been found?” O’Toole tweeted.

Okay, now I have a bunch of questions that I will never get answers to. O'Toole is a tool!

From what I read, there was no police report filed. That's strange. If I thought my 1 month old infant was abducted, I'd be calling the police. Not getting on Instagram.
And then he said she is "alive, we think." That's just even more strange to me that as a parent you'd even make that comment.
The child is with his baby momma, safe.

This sounds like a custody dispute more than anything else. Is he married to the baby's mom? In an ongoing relationship?

This sounds like a custody dispute more than anything else. Is he married to the baby's mom? In an ongoing relationship? Apparently he has an ex wife, and a baby momma. And I'm guessing she is an ex as well. What a FUCKED up thing to do. I hope this actually works against him in a custody battle. Fucker gets on Instagram saying "alive, we think." about his 1 year old daughter. But NEVER files a report. Shady as fuck.

What a weird post. Also the snide comment about his daughter having "a million names". Why would you say that in your own child's birth announcement?
Does anyone know if the mother is OK?

Imagine that -- his 1 month old found safely with mom. Meanwhile, although he updated his Instagram at 10:48 (then deleted the text) that he called police to ask for an update and that Peterborough police "hung up on him." He posted his abduction message around 6:22 pm. Toronto police said no report. Durham Police after she was found said no report exists. According to Daily Mail (which I don't trust but in light of two other departments saying no report exists I believe this) that Peterborough Police said they don't have a report. I have a really hard time believing a 1 month old gets abducted and THIS falls through the cracks. I also find it very hard to believe he was hung up on by them after all of this went viral. I really hope the police can prove they never heard from him until after his post. He's trying to fuck over the mother. Attachments:

A lot of the comments on the article on Facebook aren’t in his favor. Sounds like he has a reputation for sensationalized statements and trying to keep his 15 minutes of fame.

This sounds like a custody dispute more than anything else. Is he married to the baby's mom? In an ongoing relationship? Yep. She's left him, taking baby with her and this is his passive/aggressive way of dealing with it. O Toole seems to be very aptly named.

I always though he was an idiot as a sportscaster. It seems like that is trait throughout his life.

He says "I’ve still haven’t seen a picture of her, let alone held her. Yet my character called into question?" But yet posted a picture of her on Instagram on May 26.

to me, a missing baby is a sensitive matter. if i had a missing baby, I wouldn't be on Instagram or Facebook discussing it in cryptic terms, especially if there is no Amber alert or police report filed already. you are not showing off a sunset or a new shoes you bought. it's a baby...that's missing.....

The way he wrote all that, it actually sounded like a dad who murdered his infant and is trying to cover his tracks. It's just odd. If the baby mama was supposed to drop the baby off, and she didn't, and if he thought she took off, it's pretty easy for the police (if you actually filed a report) to get vehicle info and put out an alert. That didn't happen. Would a dad have ANY custodial rights now with a 1 month old baby? How does dad care for a 1 month old? I guess she could pump milk but it just seems odd that there's some arrangement right now with the baby being that young. If he thought she was postpartum and took off, this is a police matter, not an Instagram matter. And if you post on Instagram with a cryptic "I hope whomever has her, is holding her..." that sure sounds like you have no idea who took the baby. So why wouldn't you give any details..."the baby was last seen at..." If he did all this for custody rights, i hope it backfires.

I really wonder if he had any idea just how viral that post was going to go. Now that you know the baby was with its mother, that whole IG post sounds more like:
"I don't know where baby is. My baby momma won't tell me. I hope you're holding my daughter and protecting her. I hope she lets me hold her in my arms again."

It also bugs me that he refers to Oakland as "my baby." It's not "your" baby pal. And maybe your "my baby" claim is exactly why you aren't seeing her. Maybe that's nitpicking, but if you really have no idea that your baby isn't with your baby momma, seemingly you would post "our baby."

Someone on reddit who said he knows the GF's family said he broke up with her the day before. Broke up during her pregnancy, got back together with her after born, broke up with her yesterday. They do not currently have a custody arrangement.
Yeah, it's someone from reddit. But yeah, I believe this.
