I have left the house maybe 5 times since March, Dh still goes to work but that’s about it. We have been so much more productive since this started in March. And truly enjoying our time together. So even this is an example of sort of jumping on others for being slightly off what people deem acceptable. Agree that the board is a main outlet for a lot of us and therefore where we tend to lose it. I found myself responding in ways I wasn’t always proud of, though not for this reason. It has helped to step back some. OP I have no clue what went down, but support taking time off for self care and hope it helps you. freebird has a point. Go for a ride if you can, clear your head. I have great fear that a friend has become agoraphobic during all this. She won't even go to the lake house she and her DH bought for fear of neighbors....WTF??? Wear a mask, stay 6 feet away from them. I fear for her mental health. In general I agree with you and didn’t mean to imply that she didn’t, just that the way she presented it was a little snippy and judgmental; even on a thread when discussing this very thing. Not suggesting it was intentional but rather just the opposite. It was on her mind, she’s opposed to it, and yet her post can come across the same way. It can be easy to do, even when we are being intentional with our words. A, I making sense? For me, and I sincerely appreciate your concern, I’m doing well I am a homebody anyway and tend to really hibernate in the summer. I hate the sun, and our heat and humidity make me feel very ill and I can’t function. I am doing other things like talking on the phone instead of texting just contacting people more frequently since I can’t see them in person. I have general anxiety with health phobias so for me leaving the house typically creates more stress than it relieves, especially when I see people in my state going about their lives as if we are not at a crisis point right now. But since you mentioned the drive, it just popped into my head that I used to love driving at night singing along to music. We will have to do that soon, thanks for the suggestion! And BFF and I just reschedule our carnic that was rained out last week. We found a very shady parking lot between our towns and are packing lunch, sitting in our own cars with the windows open (and a/c running) and having a picnic so we can visit in person. I miss her face!

This place has never disappointed in being an attack zone (based on usually limited info). It is what it is but I usually just skip over it and stick to the fun posts.
People are Covid crazy and that just ramps up every other negative aspect here and IRL.

What happened to us all treating others better on here? There was just recently a thread where Ps voiced this. Being kinder/gentler to each other. I don't see the increase in nastiness or bullying on here compared to the old 2Ps!! It's the same Ps all the time. We just need to call them out, like Sloths did. I didn't see the thread the OP posted on, but I would hate for us to lose ANOTHER P due to stuff like this. Hope you won't be gone for long. Wow, pot meet kettle! You have certainly had your time in the mud-slinging pit throughout 2Peas history (including blocking me from the Refupeas FB group) since my choices don't always coincide with what you would do. SMH.

I think a thread about someone leaving because they felt bullied and abused is a great place to discuss the constant bullying and abusing practiced by the peas. I think someone having to announce they are leaving is a great place to discuss drama queens. If it’s that bad here, just leave. Unless someone is being contacted off the board, the “bullying and abused” excuse is utter bullshit. There was at least one situation where a Pea was contacted off the board and they even threatened to contact her employer!

Some of you live for drama. SMH
