My kids were making fun of the 13.5 lb bag of baking soda (from Costco), I bought recently. If the world comes to an end, I will have clean bathroom sinks, tubs and sparkly clean kitchen sink... Mind blown that there even is such a thing. It can be used for pool maintainance. I use a shit ton at a time (actual measurement) and I also use it as a laundry additive.

I haven't found Clorox wipes, but I had a lot of white rags, a quart squirt bottle and a gallon of Clorox when this all started, so I just sanitize with the rags and 2T of Clorox and water in the quart bottle. It's lasting a long time!
Now I need to buy another gallon of Clorox to be ready in a few weeks.
I bought hand sanitizer, but since I'm not going out much at all, I just use soap at home 95% of the time.
I want to stock up on Costco organic chicken but we can get only two packages at a time. I will have to go shopping more often if I want to stock up.

I haven't been in a store since the beginning of March and have done online shopping and grocery pickup. I am unable to find disinfectant spray or wipes, and if I do find something off brand, the cost is 3 times the amount one would normally pay. I have heard you can find some of the items in store, which is great, but what about the disabled and those that are really ill or other reasons that can't really go into a store. I don't understand why that don't have those items available to those that would like them to be shipped. If they did, it would sure help with the number of people going into the stores.

We mostly shop at Nob Hill and some items have never come back in stock. Dh's Coke Zero is never there. I have been looking for whole peppercorns for a month. I will look for a few items tomorrow. We can always use more TP and we only have one box of tissues left. I found scrubbing bubbles and bleach last time no problem. We never use paper towels or napkins. I wonder what is up with Coke products. I like Cherry Coke Zero, and can't find it anywhere except in the BIG bottles. It would take me a week to drink that up! which means it wouldn't be good after the first couple of days!! So, I'm doing without. That won't kill me of course, since I'm not addicted, I just like it. A lot of companies, not just Coco-Cola, are finding that they need to streamline their production right now. That means that they may only produce the items that sell the best. In the world of Coke, I believe it means that Coke and Diet Coke will be fine, the more obscure Coke flavors may not be as readily available. In yogurt, the more obscure flavors or type might not produced. In TP, it may mean that your favorite brand only produces one kind instead of basic, soft, extra strength. And so on and so forth.... ETA: or I could have read further. **GypsyGirl** covered it

I've been able to get Charmin but Costco brand toilet paper I've only been able to snag once since February. I hate Charmin!

I've noticed the baking yeast shortage. I wanted to make some dough recipes and have only been able to find a couple of store brand 3-pack strips of active dry yeast. I ordered a 1 lb bag of instant dry yeast so at least I'll have enough to last a while once I get it. I've never used instant dry though, only rapid rise or active dry. So I'll need to figure out how to substitute it.

Local Krogers are having issues getting store brand Vienna Sausages. I give them to Baby(rescue dog) as a reward for walks. We walk anyway 1 to 3 times a day so we go through a lot.
The Wal Mart Neighborhood Market is hit or miss on Great Value Vienna Sausages.
Other than that it is pretty normal. We are trying to stock up on beans, sugar free gelatin, and hand wash right now.

I still haven’t had hand sanitizer or wipes back in stock. I was just at Sam’s and their meat stock was low again. Almost no pork. I bought hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. Not the cheapest, but it was available—and I smell great!

My local grocery store has been stocked with most things, if you go inside but the last few weeks I could finally get wipes and cleaners in my online pick-up. Today I got three wipes and 3 purell hand sanitizer! No dial foaming soap even inside the store but for the first time ever I found it online at target available to be shipped! I am thankful for finding these things. I did notice in addition to no hand soap the canned veggie aisle was pretty empty.
I keep adding more things to my order each week but keep thinking I should add more. I am not hoarding just adding an extra of the things we use most often. I do not feel like we will starve or be unable to be clean.
Thank you for threads like this. They help me be prepared and aware of items I may not have thought of to stock up on

Try Tractor Supply or Feed Stores. They carry a lot of different stuff.

I am visiting my parents in Oklahoma and will be flying home to California tomorrow. I am bringing 3 4 packs of Lysol wipes in my checked luggage. I am super popular with my friends right now. 😁 everyone is hoping I will share with them.

I haven't been able to find Clorox/Lysol wipes since February and now I noticed the last two times I went to my local store they were sold out of hand soap, they did have it back for awhile.

I was pleased to find the big 3pk of Lysol wipes at Home Depot last week. Since I’m on my last from the previous 3pk into the pantry it goes for the fall.
I heard (here I think) that printer ink supplies low due to everyone working/schooling from home. Turns out that was true here.

Since I can't depend on my favorite brand of toilet paper being in stock, I buy direct from Georgia Pacific. I order the 24-pack of Quilted Northern, and even in the worst of the shortages, it was delivered pretty quickly.
I bought hand sanitizer from Art Naturals early on, and liked it. It was the gel kind, and didn't smell bad at all.
I bought a 50-pack of disposable masks from Amazon to have on hand. I stuck some in the cars and sent some to work with DH and DS just in case they forget their cloth ones (or they're all in the wash.) I only use them for getting my hair colored.
I bought the instant yeast in a 1-lb bag, and a Costco bag of flour, so we're set for baking for the year.
I found a 5-pack of clorox wipes at Costco, and that should be good for us for a long time. I only use them when I'm out -- I carry a couple into the store with me and use them to wipe down the cart and any high touch surfaces.
I feel like we never actually ran out of food here -- the stores may not have had my favorite brands, but they had plenty of food. I keep at least two weeks worth of food in the house at a time.

Still no Clorox wipes or spray Lysol here. Also really missing my Lysol Laundry Deodorizer. Walmart is overstocked in toilet paper and paper towels.
After over a month of searching, I finally found some Vegetarian Vegetable Campbell soup. I stopped in on a small locally owned grocery store...they had 13 cans and I bought them all to split with my mom. She’s been missing her lunch of soup and grilled cheese.
Ended up finding an off-brand Clorox wipes. They had only two left so I got one.
Only strange brand hand sanitizer here...I pick up one when I find it (or two if there is no limit and only if they are fully stocked).

I still can't find Clorox wipes, spray disinfectants or hand soap. Chicken and bacon are often out of stock or very low in stock. A lot of canned soups are either out of stock or almost.
I'm starting to work on restocking my supple of cleaning, health/beauty and certain foods to give me peace of mind going into Fall.

Thank you for offering to help me get the active yeast. I plan to put in an order with that King Arthur company when the weather cools off. With temps in the 100's, no baking right now. LOL

Yesterday I couldn't find hot dog sauce....any brand. I mean it's summertime and the ballparks are closed so perhaps people are eating more chili dogs at home but it was a bummer....and totally random. I also noticed, just walking by, that the entire vegan section was empty. Perhaps they were in the process of moving stuff but if not that would really suck for people who use those items.

The next time I go out I am going to try to score some toilet paper and paper towels as well as flour and sugar.
I am on my last pack of toilet paper and I can't live without paper towels! (jk, but I really like them)
I also want to have an extra shampoo/ conditioner, bath soap, laundry soap, and dish soap.
I guess I have a bunch of stuff I need to get!

I definitely dipped into the reserves in the last month or so, so I restocked on Sunday. I ordered a big order of foaming hand soap from Bath and Body Work that was a splurge for sure. Our imperfect produce has kept us with fresh fruits and veggies so that has been nice. I think I have only needed to go to the grocery store about once a month instead of once a week.

I put two types of rubber gloves on my curbside pick up list because I wanted to make sure I got something and didn't get either It might just be my store though. Also dishwasher tabs were substituted for the liquid dw soap. I did get my brand of tp, which I haven't been able to get since March so I guess it evens out

After weeks of being out of stock, I found large packages of rubber gloves at Home Depot this week in both painting and cleaning aisle. Huge display full of packages, all of which appeared to be labeled L/XL, which was what DH wanted. I grabbed one. Got back and he opened the package to get gloves for his project and turns out it was a bag of size Small. Didn’t fit. Must have been the only pack of small in the bin. I checked and they all said L. Ugh. HD is way too far away to go return them, but they’ll be here at the family cabin for others to use. Small will fit MIL and SIL who are here quite a bit.

I come from a big fruit growing province and our shelves are bare. They are out of cherries and apples and we are huge apple and cherry producers. Part might be inability to find labour. I am not sure. We have hand sanitizer though and I have wipes.

I've never been able to get Lysol Spray or Clorox wipes and I'm ready to give up.
The latest thing to go out of stock here is Bounty paper towels (so I'm stuck with a pack of those Brawny quarter sheeters) and Cottonelle TP. Nothing at my grocery store, Sam's Club or Target. Anyone else finding this to be a problem?
This week I placed orders for foaming hand soap, hand lotion, vitamins, Tylenol, shampoo and conditioner. I'm in good shape on everything else.
