I did some shopping for my brother today, and will do the rest tomorrow. I was able to get his preferred toilet paper and paper towels, bleach, and some hand soaps, although not necessarily his first choice. This was at HyVee. I was at Target earlier this week and they had a lot of paper products - but they hadn’t gotten any Lysol wipes that day. I overheard another customer asking and the employee said they usually get some every day, but not that one.
Sam's on the other hand, had pretty much no paper products today.
The HyVee actually had yeast, and had several options for that.

For those who cannot find wipes, the only place I’ve been able to buy them is from amazon fresh. If you’re a prime member, go in and fill your fresh cart with other items you need in order to meet the minimum purchase. That way, when the wipes are in stock you can quickly checkout rather than trying to find things to meet the minimum after you’ve added the wipes. Then, while you’re going to be sitting at your desk working, crafting, reading, whatever, just check whenevr you think of it during the day to see if they come in stock. When they do, act quick. Voila!

Voila! This is what I’ve been doing too. I was able to get Lysol wipes, Clorox spray and Lysol disinfectant last week. I’ve had good luck with Prime Now too. In fact, an order was just delivered 30 minutes ago. Today I was able to get my preferred toilet paper (same price as target) and disposable hand towels I wanted. As MichyM said - the key is to have your cart ready to go.

I've never been able to get Lysol Spray or Clorox wipes and I'm ready to give up. The latest thing to go out of stock here is Bounty paper towels (so I'm stuck with a pack of those Brawny quarter sheeters) and Cottonelle TP. Nothing at my grocery store, Sam's Club or Target. Anyone else finding this to be a problem? This week I placed orders for foaming hand soap, hand lotion, vitamins, Tylenol, shampoo and conditioner. I'm in good shape on everything else. Three weeks in a row now I’ve been able to find Clorox wipes on a Tuesday morning at Costco. I don’t know if that’s when they restock after the weekend or what, but it’s worked for me.

I've only found lysol wipes 35 count, limit 1, one time. Felt like winning the lottery.
Chicken is hard to find at the regular grocery store. I was at Costco the other day and they had chicken back in stock, so that was nice.

Rice is still the one item that's constantly out of stock.
Most other stuff that I buy regularly is still available.
My preferred TP is still not available but others are. I've been ok with the alternate. DH's preferred oatmeal has been out. He's ok with a different brand but really wants Quaker.

I finally found Clorox wipes the other day at Target, they only had the small canisters (35?) and a limit of 1. I found small packages in the travel supplies with 10 per package for $1 each with no limit. The bin was full so I grabbed 6 and counted my blessings. Went back the next day to get some for my SIL and both areas were bare.

Just returned from Costco. Beef was sparse and what was in stock didn't look all that great/fresh. Toilet paper and paper towels were plenty, but I didn't see any napkins. Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite and a few others were stocked, but there was at least one pallet that was empty, although I didn't check to see what that was. Bleach was in stock, but no other cleaning products other than toilet bowl cleaner. Detergent was plentiful as well as dish soap and dishwasher tabs, but no hand soap. They did have a pallet of masks so it looks like those are easier to come by now. Still no Clorox wipes, but every now and then I luck out and find it at Target.

Ground chuck is impossible to find around here. The local butcher had it a few weeks ago, but I refuse to pay $7 lb.
Canned green beans have been gone since April.
Clorox type wipes and sprays disappeared months ago.
Caffeine free pop no longer even have spaces and tags on the shelves for it to return. I hoarded some because I’m guessing we’re not gonna see that again for a very very long time.
My DD and I both started stocking up for fall. People around here to seem to think the worst is over, but I’m not convinced. I hope they are right and I am wrong.

Green beans are our favorite vegetable, and we love them "country style," or as one of my friends says, " cooked to death" LOL. I buy the big can at Sam's and put them in the crockpot with bacon and onion. Leftovers go in the fridge and are generally gone in 3-4 days. I haven't had any problem finding these, and I pick up a couple of cans each week. I'm thinking about getting this size can of diced tomatoes too.

Well I got everything in my curbside pickup order today. But I didn't buy fresh meat, paper goods, or disinfectants.
Still, I was surprised at even getting the few really hard to find items I had on the list along with all the usual produce and pantry items.

I stopped at the warehouse store today (BJs) and actually found disinfectant spray, wipes, and hand sanitizer, but brands I’ve never heard of and the prices were higher than before.

Strangely, I am having a hard time finding name brand soy sauce. Also, large grocer was super low on all meats today. I think I got the last pack of chicken breasts.
For some reason, last year I stocked way up on Clorox wipes. I probably have 7 of the large containers of them, so, my weird behavior there has paid off during the pandemic!

Canned green beans have been gone since April. My Costco has been out for months! Can’t get them online either. Weird! My local Costco is out of corn as well. It’s always on my list but nada every time.

I didn’t realize pumpkin was a hot commodity. I will put a couple cans on my list. My dog needs it every so often and I would hate to not find it at the store when she needs it.

I haven't had too much trouble finding what I need. I don't use paper towels, paper napkins, baby wipes, Clorox wipes, yeast, flour, rice or any kind of hand sanitizer so I guess that's why. TP has been an occasional challenge to find. I'm thinking I better stock up on some tp and bar soap but I think I have several in reserve. I need to go check. I use Grove Collaborative for most toiletries, cleaning supplies and tp. The only thing I wasn't able to get from them during lock down was toilet paper. I'm sure that will be the case this time so I'll pick some up.

Yesterday Sam's Club and Costco online sites had toilet paper. Shipping was $5. If you're members, that's an option Yes! After looking for a month, I finally was able to order the Scott brand (on a failing septic-need this brand) Twice a day I tried to order and I sometimes can put it in the cart and then it would jump out.

I felt like a kid on Christmas today. LOL I always check the baking aisle to see what they have back in stock, and I was so excited today when I saw King Arthur bread flour! I haven't seen that since March. They had quite a bit of it, so I bought two bags.

I haven't been able to find Lysol. Sometimes I find small containers of Clorox wipes at Target. I was buying 1 each time I found them so I can save them for the schools when they open. But I hit the jack pot at Costco last month and was able to buy a pack of 4! So I'm not buying anymore at this point.

One of the nightly news channels showed ship's cargo containers still sitting in China. (The chemicals that make sanitizing cleaners come from China).

I checked HEB for canned pumpkin and sure enough, they were out of Libbys. I bought 3 cans of the organic brand because I don't want to risk not having pumpkin this fall So that's where my HEB Organics canned pumpkin went! I haven't seen it in at least a month and am having to make do with the Libby's. We add it to the dog's food, so I buy it regularly, not just in the fall.

Since there will be online school this Fall, I predict a shortage of alcohol! I am already drinking more, just at the thought of doing online schooling again!🤪
