I hope their decisions were worth it to them.
I’m sorry she paid the ultimate price because of her idiot parents.

I can't wrap my head around that the mother was a nurse and the father was a physician assistant and they could be so horrifically ignorant. I can. My mother told me 2 weeks ago that at her regular checkup with her GP, the doctor told her the cases of COVID would start going down now that summer was here. That the heat and sunshine would kill the germs. When I asked her to please explain why there were cases of COVID in Australia during our winter but their summer, she got very quiet. I suggested she find a better doctor.

The parents should be charged with manslaughter and have their professional licenses revoked. Then anti-vaxxed, QANons, and Trump supporters should be shoved into a giant box and set adrift in the Atlantic. I think they should be charged with first degree murder. Their deliberate and planned actions led directly to her death. It was completely premeditated.

This is truly heartbreaking. I am beginning to think people who knowingly expose others to covid, resulting in death or catastrophic longterm health problems, should be charged with something. I don’t see how killing someone by intentionally exposing them to covid is any different than getting into a car and driving drunk. I think this is part of the problem. The naysayers of all of this are all about themselves and their rights. They aren't thinking about others. Drives me nuts!

“ On it, her mother, Carole Brunton Davis, said: "We are incredibly saddened by her passing at this young age, but are comforted that she is pain-free. Heaven gained an angel. Carsyn did not have an easy life." Certainly not with parents like that. 🤬🤬🤬 Now with the name, it is the same girl I read about the other day, probably only yesterday. The article I read said that the mother deliberately took her knowing there was coronavirus there! 😱 Oh yikes!

She was the same age as my youngest - 17. No, it wasn't her idea to have a COVID party - her parents took her to a large church party, where masks were not worn and distancing not attempted, on purpose And commentary from a local-to-me pediatrician who has been posting regularly on COVID related topics. Will you share the name of the pediatrician?

Manslaughter charges at the very least. Absolutely appalling. Words cannot express the revulsion and anger that I feel on behalf of that poor girl who deserved to be protected by her parents, not betrayed by them.

Our "Governor" deSatan, is speaking right now, updating with his own sick slant. What a sick little fat moron. He's getting even dumber and fater daily, and becoming Trump 2.0. We're screwed!!!! deSatan.... You hit the nail on the head. He's a dangerous ass. Luckily our neighbors are good about masks and distancing.

This is a Twitter post of the mother's from 2016:
Just to let you know, due to Target's new policy on transgender restrooms/dressing rooms, I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy...and I do ALOT of business with the pharmacy. I will not put my family (young daughter) at risk because they need to be politically correct. Guess you should think about who you get in bed with. Oops, did I say that?

On the local news FB article the comments are all
-in favor of what the parents did or
-in favor how they treated her medically
-or she did not really die of Covid (because it is a hoax).

How can you be in favour of someone deliberately exposing their medically vulnerable child to something that could kill her? HOW?? Is this a religious thing? God will decide or some such bollocks? 😡😡😡😡

Beliefs > Evidence strikes again.
And will keep striking until people stop acting as if all their stupid, ignorant, uninformed beliefs are every bit as valid as peer-reviewed studies, data, evidence, and shared reality.

We have increasing number of cases, increasing hospitalizations, and increasing ICU and ventilator utilization. The only reason our hospitals aren’t at capacity is because there are surge beds added daily, meaning hospitals are using beds that aren’t usually ICU beds as ICU beds and those are counting as available ICU beds. I’m assuming it’s also hot in Texas and Florida, but I haven’t actually looked. This poor girl’s story makes me sad because it didn’t have to happen. Her parents make me angry.

It is just being presented by the leftist news media as another fake death so hospitals can get more money or to hurt Trump or to take away our freedom as part of some leftist plot. I had to stop reading because I was getting so depressed.

After the deaths, dt said 99% of those who had Covid-19 have no after affects! I got Covid-19 two months ago. I'm still discovering new areas of damage -- Richard QuestBy Richard Quest, Business editor-at-large, CNN Updated 1:47 PM ET, Tue July 7, 2020 (CNN)The cough has come back, without warning and seemingly for no reason; so has the fatigue. True, neither are as debilitating as when I had the actual virus, but they are back. Like many others, I am now coming to realize that I am living and suffering from the long tail of Covid-19.I got infected back in mid-April. The onset of symptoms came quickly. I suddenly noticed I was feeling very tired and I had a new cough. I got tested and the morning after I received a phone call from the medical center, I had tested positive for coronavirus. The virus is like a tornado. When it lands, it swirls through the body, causing chaos, confusion, coughs, wreaking damage to each organ it touches. Some won't survive its visit. For those that do, when it has gone, one surveys the damage to the human landscape and realizes it's much greater than first thought. My symptoms were on the milder side: I never had breathing difficulties, or loss of sense or smell. I was wiped-out tired and I always had "the cough," which has now returned. ** I am also discovering new areas of damage: I have now become incredibly clumsy. I was never the most lissome person, no one ever called me graceful, but my clumsiness is off the chart. If I reach for a glass, or take something out of a cupboard, I will knock it, or drop it on the floor. I have tripped over the curb and gone flying. I fall over furniture. It is as if that part of my brain, which subconsciously adjusts hand and movement to obstacles it sees, isn't working. At times there's a sense of mild confusion. The micro delay in a thought, the hesitation with a word. Nobody would notice but me. My digestive system is peculiar, to say the least. ** It will roar through the body -- kill some on the way -- injure all in its path -- and then when you think "well, thank God that's gone," look around, the damage is strewn everywhere and will be with you long after the crisis has passed. ** www.cnn.com/2020/07/07/health/richard-quest-covid-wellness-intl/index.html

Anyway, the doctor told him that he could go to work and didn't need to quarantine since there was no telling when he got it. What?? It doesn't matter when he got it! He was positive and shouldn't have been able to go back to work (and should have been quarantined) until he was negative. And, yes, he went back to work. This happened in Texas.

I just read that the carpenter (Jesus? I’m not sure...I’m an atheist) is stronger than Bill Gates and Hillary Clinton. So don’t worry y’all.
I joke but I (Canadian) was stopped on my way in to the grocery store the other day by a man who said I didn’t need my mask because Jesus will save me from the virus. I’m really hating the world right now.

I saw a doctor on TV yesterday who said they are finding permanent lung damage when they X-ray people who had “asymptomatic” cases, i.e., no noticeable symptoms, but they still have scarring in their lungs. Multiple people. I don’t think we know half of what we’re going to know about this disease before we’re done. People are freakin’ idiots. Merge, thanks for posting that rant from the pediatrician. She is awesome! But this story just breaks my heart. I hope those parents suffer from nightmares every night for the rest of their sorry lives.

Could her friend have tested positive for antibodies? That test shows that you've developed antibodies to COVID and had it at some time in the past It's different from the viral load test, which shows that you are currently carrying the virus. That would make more sense in terms of the doctor recommending no quarantine. But who knows, I definitely know some dumbass doctors. This whole story, OP, is incredibly sad and maddening.
