We’re officially out of the WHO

The damage he can do in the next 6 months makes me sick.

With any luck, if Biden wins, he'll be able to quickly mend fences with our allies - including getting us back into WHO, NATO and the Paris Accord. Just to name a few.

Honestly, I feel like this admin is really playing with fire. If you look at past revolutions, they usually come when things just get unbearable for enough people, or when people feel that they have little to lose.

When everyone was tied to a job, people were too busy staying above water to protest. With the number of people out of work, that has changed. There are a lot of people with nothing better to do and nothing to lose.

When everyone has enough to eat and a roof over their heads, they don't want to risk losing it. Guess what? Those people who are out of work are running out of money and food.

When you have lots of people dying for no good reason, you're going to get some angry families who feel that someone needs to pay for the death of their loved one. It's not going to be the doctors. It's going to be the "leaders" who failed to lead.

Put those three things together and you have a critical mass. Eventually it hits the tipping point and they're going to feel that they have a grievance, they aren't being heard, and there's nothing to lose by trying to go after the people they feel are the cause of it.

Taking us out of WHO is just one more instance of striking out and showing that he really doesn't care what happens to the people of the country. The pandemic is a mild inconvenience for him, nothing more.

There is no way. Just no way. Granted, I never thought he’d win in the first place, but I think the Trump reign is gone after this term and he knows it.

Hopefully we'll get rejoin in November when things, hopefully, change. 

He is a spiteful little man. I also read he wants to ban the Tiktok app. As if he doesn't have bigger things to focus on. He's probably still pissed the teens on Tiktok successfully ruined attendance at his Tulsa rally. Rest assured, those K-pop loving teens will always be one step ahead of him. Lol

Is that the same one with the guy who was pissed because Obama was out on vacation during 9-11?? Such a small gene pool. Or puddle.

My DH thinks it will be Ivanka. She is pretty popular with young Republicans. My guess would be Jared.  He’s taken on a lot of responsibilities and is Trumps top confidante. The 2024 election will be an interesting one. I’m wondering if any Republican would dare run against either of them. 

I hate him. He's a selfish, vain pompous ass who is destroying America at rapid pace.

This really just makes me ill. In the midst of a world wide pandemic that isn't going away anytime soon, the US pulls support from WHO. I'm sure there are people who think this is a good idea, but wow. Trump just wants to put blame anywhere but on himself and his Fox cohorts who spent weeks saying it was all a hoax at at time when he could have been doing something to prepare.

If there ARE people who think this is a good idea, I would sure love to hear their reasons why, because I don't see anything good coming from this at all. It just makes us look like assholes.

Why am I not surprised.

Hope to see our American friends back with us around the table for international partnerships, accords and organisations after November.

I truly hope your DH is wrong because if he isn`t then America will be on it`s own against the world.

It worries me to hear how people are saying Biden is a shoo-in against Trump. The same thing was said about Clinton last time and they had the rug pulled out from beneath them.
