I've been with the peas since 2002. I'm 54 now and I think I'm probably in the average age group for this board. We even have a 50s thread because there are so many of us.
I was reading another thread and was surprised there were 3 people on it that said they were in their twenties and thirties.
I was actually happy about that because I fear this board will (literally) die as the years go on. I've always been against making this a closed board because I think it is important to have younger people find their way here.
How many peas are in their twenties and thirties?

I'm 37 and was a Pea by 2002. I mostly lurked then (being a college student didn't leave me much in common with many of the Peas) but I'm glad I stuck around. I still don't have much in common (never married, no kids) but I'm willing to post on more threads now. 😂

I’m in my 30s. Been scrapping since high school when most of you were scrapping your little kids. 😊 It’s been great watching and learning from those a season or two ahead of me.

In my final year of my 30s. I was a 2Peas lurker for years, at least since 2007, but I don't think I ever posted there.

I'm 30 and have been reading 2peas since the summer between 6th and 7th grade. (Yes, really!). Scrapbooking was popular at the time and my friends and I loved looking at Becky Higgins' lettering and sketch pages and postings in the gallery on the old site. I didn't follow NSBR until a few years later, but have been here through high school, college, and now 8 years of teaching!

Me! I'm in my early 30s.
I was on the 2Peas old board back in late middle school, maybe? I wasn't active on there and back then, though, and scrapbooking was not my primary craft then anyway.

Dh and I realized that we refer to people in their 20's and early 30's as kids. That inspires me to tell you to make the most of your life. Don't let the days fly by. As you age life starts to pick up speed and now is a great time to learn to be happy, if you aren't already.

I just turned 30, joined the peas when I was 28 (but almost 29). I scrapbooked as a child with my mom who owned a scrapbook store in the 90s. I did a little bit during high school, and more over the last few years since starting my own family. I was never part of an online scrapbook community since it was never my main hobby. A lot has changed since the 90s though, so I went to google a community that discusses what’s new and I found the peas. Lol!

And figure out a way to save $3000 - $5000 a year to put into a Roth IRA. Doing it early pays off like crazy later on. |

I would never have guessed this. I hope this doesn't sound insulting to you or people in their 20's and 30's, as I don't mean it to be, but you post with a lot of wisdom and candid well thought out posts that just always made me think you were older. I need to rethink this as my kids are in that age group but are very much adults now. |
