Since we've been exploring demographics of our board I thought I'd create a poll to find out where every one lives.
I was limited to 50 choices so if you don't live in the US please feel free to post and let us know what country you call home.

Dammit, after reading down the list, now I have 50 Nifty United States stuck in my head. Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas ... My sons learned this in elementary school over 25 years ago and I still remember most of the words - elementary school music teachers have a life long impact!

Dammit, after reading down the list, now I have 50 Nifty United States stuck in my head. Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas ... That has always been the most helpful song I have learned!

The poll doesn’t show up on the app, but either way, we are currently splitting our time between MA and NH.

My chorus teacher used to punch the air to emphasize New Hampshire...New Jersey...New Mexico (pause) New York Was this a her thing or official music teacher thing?

British Columbia, Canada. I am on Vancouver Island & people here are going bonkers worrying about 'lying Americans' who are trying to illegally cross the border into Canada.
I find it embarrassing & I find myself wanting to apologize on behalf of my country.

I learned that song in the mid 70s in a tiny Oregon town.
Fifty nifty United States, from 13 original colonies. I love this song.

A state of confusion, much of the time. This thread reminded me of a funny thing from years ago on a different board. I was living in Singapore at the time, and someone from the US asked me which state Singapore was in. I told her that Singapore is its own city state.

Anyone else looking at this list and seeing a goal of getting a vote from every state? lol. I'm sure we have people here from every state, it's just a matter of getting them to see the thread and vote.

Here, we all just shout "TEXAS!!" when it's time. I always feel kind of bad for the states that pass quickly through the rundown. Texas gets a nice pause after it.
