I wasn’t sure where to post this (here or the stamping forum), but I need some serious help with organizing my stamps. As a scrapbooker, I have accumulated so many clear stamps and my current storage solution is overflowing. What are you currently using to house your stamp sets? Do you transfer your stamps into a clear plastic envelope? If so, which brand? Thanks so much!

Yes, I use some of the Avery Elle envelopes and some of the knock off ones from amazon. I use Itso quarter bins that Target used to sell. I’ve found them on amazon & Bed Bath & Beyond fairly recently. eta - just searched and couldn’t find any. Fridge bins are really popular and I think Container store & IKEA both have some that work

Yup, another vote for the Avery Elle envelopes, although other companies have similar products and its all a matter of preference. But...I'm too far in with the AE ones now! 😂

I use Avery Elle pockets and then store the stamps in bins I found at TJ Maxx.

Avery Elle envelopes go into short bin type boxes.

Avery Elle seems to be the way to go... where does everyone get theirs for a good price?

I have had the same issue where I have way too many clear stamps and wasn't finding them/using them so I came up with a system and it is working pretty well! First, I am trying to keep them in sleeves from Everyday Explorers (for 4x6) and from Studio Calico (for 6x8). For now I'm not using sleeves for my 3x4 because they won't fit in my system with sleeves as well, but I might change that. Then I use a project life card organizer from stamp-n-storage to store my stamp sets on my desk. The 4x6 fit perfectly on their side, the 3x4 and 6x8 fit perfectly vertically. For 2x3 stamps I keep them in an old Studio Calico handbook and they slip nicely into the 3x4 sized pockets so I can flip through the book. Then I organized my stamps by printing out a small label for each one and adhering it to the back of the sheet with clear tape. I've used a coding system to label them by size & manufacturer. Then I created a mini book where I go through and stamp all of my stamps in certain themed categories. I'll admit it takes FOREVER to get my stamps in here, but it's a nice thing to work on while watching TV and once I got my stash cataloged, adding new ones doesn't take as long. Each stamp in the book is labeled with stamp's code and then I know exactly where to look for that stamp set. It works amazingly and I use my stamps so much more! Plus, I realize what stamps/phrases I have a lot of and don't buy ones as frequently that are similar to sets I already own. This is one of my stamp-n-storage organizers, I have a second one as well that has some additional stamps in it plus room to grow. I remember what sections are which, for example, the last two spots on the bottom row and the second row are Ali Edwards story stamps in chronological/numbered order. So if I am looking for a specific stamp from my book that I know is "SS29" for example (story stamp 29) I will flip through those to find it, but it will be between 28 & 30 This is the book with my 2x3 stamps. I'll admit, I haven't gotten to completing my organization of these yet, but they will be numbered similar to the larger stamps so I will know what page I can find the stamp i'm looking for in the book. Note: this is the grey binder you can see in the first photo. This is one page from my stamp catalog. The beginning has a table of contents of categories (alphabetical order) and also a list of all of the stamps I own by code. Note: this is the kraft binder with "stamps" on the spine you can see in the first photo.

I did go to buy the project life card organizer and I don’t think they make it anymore 😭😭😭😭

I use a mix of Avery Elle and Tim Holtz envelopes in storage bins. Very easy to flip through and find what you want. Previously I've found the AE envelopes on Amazon for a good price.

This is amazing! Thank you for all the detail! I did go to buy the project life card organizer and I don’t think they make it anymore 😭😭😭😭 I just bought my most recent one less than 6 months ago! I would try reaching out to them and asking about it? They had said they only made it originally because customers had asked. Maybe if they realize there's still interest in it they'll bring it back? It's a shame because it's perfect for stamps too... maybe if they knew that it fit stamps it would sell more... ugh, that's so disappointing that they don't have it anymore, I love them so much.

I use the Avery Elle envelopes for clear stamps and for die sets. BTW I tape them closed with drafting tape just to be on the safe side.
Another option is CD plastic envelopes. Great for smaller sets and really cheap on Amazon.

I use the Checkout Store clear storage bags from Amazon. They are similar to the Avery Elle bags but at a more affordable price point. The come in lots of sizes as well (including ones for 6x8 stamps). I keep them in the fridge bins like Jennifer McGuire.

I use a frig bin (purchased from amazon). I also use 5x8 and 9x12 "job ticket holders" purchased from amazon. I can buy a box of 50 for about $20. I love these envelopes as they are sturdy and work great. I insert a piece of cheap white cardstock as well.

I use the Avery Elle clear storage pockets and file them into a clear fridge storage bin. TJ Maxx usually has the bins for $5 or less!

I keep my chipboard in them as well as ephemera that is taped to a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock tucked inside.
