1991 - my bridesmaids wore a floral dress, so our wedding colors were chosen from the dress. Teal and kind of a bright pink.

Early 1990's - Bridesmaids in Laura Ashley water-marked taffeta dresses in a soft peachy pink. They had white lace across the shoulders and bodice. Flowers were a mix of bright colored spring flowers - pink tulips, yellow daffodils, purple iris.

1994- floral with jewel tones (nov wedding) MOH wore burgundy dress. DH wore dress whites. Mainly our colors were white and burgundy I guess. Used the burgundy as an accent color to the floral stuff. I'd do it again, except maybe do bridesmaids in solid color vs floral dresses. They look a little dated now. But overall the pics look good.

I didn't choose 2 colors like many people do. We just just chose burgundy because our fall colored invitations and decor had a lot of burgundy in them and I liked the idea of a less obvious fall color.
Around here flowering pear trees turn a deep burgundy color and that's what I had in mind when I chose the color.

Just summer colors. My flowers were seasonal and colorful and my bridesmaids wore spring green. Which they picked. No one can ever groan about that awful dress this bride made them wear! I told them to find something they liked and do it. They looked great.

I didn't really have "colors" because we eloped and had just a small private ceremony. The reception, held later, was a very low-key affair but I know there were lots of pink and yellow decorations MIL and I got at the party store.

Red. And, I suppose, white. Bridesmaid dresses were red and their bouquet were fashioned from all different kinds of leaves and grasses. Guys wore charcoal grey tails with red bow ties and cummerbunds, and gardenia boutonnieres. I wore white and carried calla lilies. 1989

1988 - Peach & White. Not my choice, neither was my dress, cake, reception, hell, none of it! I married young & was told how it was going to be. If I had a chance for a do over, I know for a fact peach would not be a color of choice! LOL
