I think it takes consistent long-term use. Not sure if you did that or not but it could also be differences in our skin. I am just guessing here. Hopefully it will work for you if you try it again. The blend I use is delicious. It's the only word I can use. I love the consistency, the smell, and the color. It's wonderful. I really tried to be consistent, but ya know how that goes.

Separately, what are you looking forward to this week? We're having the tv room painted and getting a new couch. (I'm redecorating the room entirely in an urban boho style.) I'm looking forward to having a few days off work, but not why, the going down and taking my dad to surgery. Hopefully everything will go ok, and I can come back early. There really hasn't been much to look forward to at all!! it sucks. Oh I'm sorry. And it's so hard now with some hospitals not letting family in. I hope all goes well with your dad.

I don't have age spots but I have gotten a lot of keratosis on my back. My dad had the same thing with age. I hate what my back looks like now. Now and then I get one that's very itchy and have to have the dermatologist remove it. I guess if that is the worst of it I can't complain. Separately, what are you looking forward to this week? We're having the tv room painted and getting a new couch. (I'm redecorating the room entirely in an urban boho style.) I have a keratosis spot on my nose, but the Drs aren't worried about it. How does your dermatologist remove yours? Yes, they aren't usually cancerous, but mine get raised and itchy, so he removes them. If they are thinner he freezes them with a spray, and for the thicker ones (sorry, gross) he cuts them off. I seem to be healing well each time, no keloid scars. I think if it's not itchy or annoying you they just leave them alone.

I have a couple large ones. The skin on my face is basically blotchy and uneven. I am tempted to try the Vitamin C serum. I have tried so many things. I did some Rodan and Fields treatment for awhile. It did lighten one of my spots, but it didn't go away.

I don't have age 'spots' but along my jaw line on both sides I have dark blotches/patches that I assume are sun damage. I also used to have the same type of thing on my forehead, but that seems to have faded over the last couple years, so who knows? Maybe it's something else entirely! At some point, it will bother me enough that I'll actually get around to finding out what it is ...

How about hair? My hair has thinned out so much I'm afraid I'm going to go bald. I just started Hair, Skin & Nails, added collagen to my coffee in the morning and hope that will help. Anyone have any products that helps their hair appear thicker? Alterna Caviar Multiplying Volume styling Mousse will fluff you up.

I just turned 50, and don’t have any significant spots on my face. I started wearing makeup at a very young age. My mom said she didn’t care if I did, but taught me to cleanse, moisturize, and put on SPF daily. That definitely made a difference.
Last year, I noticed DH had new spots on his back, and it freaked me out. I went with him to the dermatologist, and she was like, oh those spots on his back, that’s just old age. She pointed out other spots that were worrisome on his face and took a bit for a biopsy. Everything was ok, but now he has some divots that he’s not happy about.

I have a sun spot and some keratoses on my face. I have a large spot on my hand that I really hate. I'm pretty sure I have a basal cell carcinoma on my nose; I need to get that and some other body spots checked out! I may try Patter's cream, too.

Those of us buying patters cream need to report back in like 6 months! Yes, and please be gentle to me if it doesn't work. Our skin type is all different. I love the stuff, and I hope it does amazing things for each of you also!

I haven't noticed any yet, but then I avoid the sun for the most part. I'm very pale and my father died of melanoma, so I'm possibly even paranoid at this point in staying out of the sun as much as possible.
P.S. I turned 50 last week, so I'm finally a "full-fledged" member of the 50ish group.
