1. I have a couple little bags that are verrrrrrry lightweight fabric. One is that Made in India hippie-ish style, often sold at stalls at festivals or craft fairs. Think Venice Beach. I got the other one, a thin, quilted Asian print, at a Chinatown shop. They’re so light! And cheap! (Maybe $10.) And versatile, e.g. when I walk, I often knot the fabric strap and hang one around my neck, chest level, so I can listen to podcasts without earphones. Yes, dorky.
2. Somebody upthread mentioned wearing a vest for walks. I bought a thin, cotton (they also have nylon) “utility vest” on Poshmark. Apparently, they were Instagram-stylish a couple years ago. News to me. TONS of pockets (phone, keys, cash, cards, water bottle...and now mask, hand sanitizer). Not good for a hot summer, but can be layered for all other seasons.

I didn't think I needed any of these. I love Scout bags(esp since my pup's name is Scout). I looked at the link last night and walked out. It was tough but I did it. THEN today Patter posted the link on Amazon. Black and white check? Yes please!! Pink and White check? Swooning over it! I remembered I have a GC balance. now which one to grab... DD says b&w goes with everything but that pink... So which one did you get? I got the black and white, since I'm going to use it for church and more "dressy" occasions. |

CarolinaGirl71 I haven't gotten either at this point. If ladies are starting to pull the trigger, I need to go look. I ended up with the B&W in the cart. And that one is most likely the one I'll get. AANNDD I ordered the B&W. It will go with whatever I am wearing or whatever purpose it will be needed for. But that doesn't mean I won't go back and get that pink one. I love pink!

Well, the Baggallini I ordered just arrived like 30 minutes ago. This is going to be PERFECT for my needs. While I LOVE the Scout one, it was too big. I just need something plain black to go with everything for church while I run around working. I wanted it to hold my phone, $, and cards. This does just that and nothing more. Here is a quick photo. The phone fits right in the back.  |
