How do you watch the hallmark Christmas movies without the cable? I got the Hallmark movies now , but this is all the old ones.

I'm beginning to feel a little excited about making a Christmas book. I had somehow forgotten how easy it is to slipcover a TN until I picked up an old one I had made. I didn't want to commit to anything so I folded a piece of good quality scrapbook paper into a slipcover, and duh. So easy and pretty. And I have some really nice paper to use, and some TNs with non-seasonally-appropriate covers. Now I'm thinking about making a little embellishment to add to the cover... baby steps!
I think I'm going to have one for my messy lists and ideas that doesn't need to be pretty, and one for the good stuff. I know I should probably just not worry about pretty, but like I said, baby steps. I'm just trying to keep this manageable and fun.
The other projects I'm working on this season are digital - one is a fun commonplace/trade book thing inspired by shannan_pages on IG. No deadline, just for fun. The other is a year in review for my family. That ground to a halt right when our trip home was cancelled in early March. ugh. I think I'm going to start near the end and work back towards where I got stuck. So yeah, I need to manage my scrappy energy.

Ummm err that’s complicated Hehe, I had to send that to my friend who was excited about the cameo appearance. I'm not sure that she is ready for proof of 4 Vanessa Hudgenseses though... The Knight Before Christmas is the Vanessa Hudgens Christmas movie hill I will die on, fictional -vias of Europe be damned!

I read the article and I’m like uh oh I’m not supposed to have to use my brain to watch cheeses Christmas romance movies. That might just be too much to handle thinking that thru

Grrr! I missed out on those big red and white numbers from ColorCast Designs. They were gone within 3 minutes, so I just didn’t buy anything. Oh that stinks! I did see where she said she would be cutting more out, so maybe keep your eyes open.

Philo too! And you can find enough services that you could get all the way through Christmas with just free trials! lol

That's an interesting mix of channels! I let my cable-cut friend who helped me make the bingo cards, even though she didn't actually have access to Hallmark, know about it.

joblackford I have told people about your Bingo cards and now everyone wants to play. I've had to email them to several people. You might want to actually make a marketable product. I think you could bring in some bank.

These bingo cards (google drive link) you can download and print to play while you watch silly holiday romantic comedies on Hallmark. My friend and I made them a few years ago. Anyone with the link can view or download them. Have fun if you play along!

Also - I got a sneak peek of Traci Reed's digital kit "stay home for the holidays" and I think it looks like it's going to be a good one. On a separate note, I saw Traci Reed is creating a Christmas at home digital collection that looks super cute! That might be the needed spark I need! Traci Reed released #StayHome for the Holidays. link Her store is 50% off until Saturday night. http://instagr.am/p/CIEmLWTgrdU I like the snow globe card.

(Confession: I have never seen a Hallmark movie and I wouldn't even know where to start)

You might not win as easily as with a Hallmark movie, and some of the squares may sound a little strange, but I’m sure they’ll still be fun. And I won’t judge you if you cheat a little. lol. I think my friend plays with them while watching Netflix romcoms. Give it a try (and I will try too) and we can both report back on how well it works out.

Three more nights until December, everyone! THREE! I'm going to use this weekend to print extra photos since I've already started my album. I also ordered some new Avery tabs for my dividers since I can't locate mine anymore (they'll pop up in the middle of December, won't they?). I've got to do get my journaling sorted in terms of font + size but I'm slowly getting there. Favourite Yuletide 2020 watch so far goes to limited German Netflix series Over Christmas. It is good. Like, really good. Very European in vibe: a lot of doom and full-on family dynamics drama before you're served some happiness. Don't make the mistake I did and assume it would be 6-ish episodes long. It's not. It's only three episodes! I only realised about halfway through the final episode that it was ending already. Binged it a little too quickly but no regrets. Pairs really well with a plate of chocolate biscuits/cookies and home-made vanilla latte.

For all those who sat through The Princess Switch 2 and still can't believe the direction Netflix went with for this Christmas franchise:

For all those who sat through The Princess Switch 2 and still can't believe the direction Netflix went with for this Christmas franchise: Also good for people who want to save 1.5 hours of their lives by not sitting through this nonsense... I can handle a single switcheroo and one or two bad accents but this is just too much for me. I've seen more than enough now, thanks! Don't make the mistake I did and assume it would be 6-ish episodes long. It's not. It's only three episodes! I only realised about halfway through the final episode that it was ending already. Oh, that would've been disconcerting! But actually that's really good for me. I am much more likely to watch 3 episodes than 6 or more.

I'm working on my thematic Yuletide album on this sunny (but oh so cold!) Sunday afternoon and it's bliss. Did I just slip right back into my beloved 4x4 format after trying on 4x6 (then 4x5)? Yep, I did. My trimmer's getting a workout but oh, it feels so nice now. Five spreads done so far. Minimalist af. *chef's kiss* I don't know why thematic December albums aren't a thing yet because they're so much fun. TWO sleeps to go, ladies! Is everyone ready for December? Got your Christmas spirit? How's the prepping going for those who like to get a bit of a head start?
