Has anyone noticed very long delivery times with USPS lately? I could understand if this was a few months ago but just within July-current it's been crazy slow for me. For example, my work still gives us paper paystubs. They mailed mine July 9th. I received it July 24th. The place it was mailed from is only thirty minutes from my mailing address. I also have two tracking numbers for packages I'm waiting for that were shipped 7/6 and I still don't have them. They have been in one city for over a week now. I can't be the only one, right? YES! I sent a card to someone in Canada almost 3 weeks ago. I’m actually not sure if it’s USPS, or Canadian mail that’s the issue, but it has yet to arrive. So frustrating!

We’re in the middle of a pandemic, the post office lost 8.8 billion last year (13th year in a row they’ve lost money) and you people want to blame Trump for something that’s been going downhill for years. How about blaming the fact that people don’t use the mail like they used to. Revenue from first class mail is the biggest source of money for the USPS and it’s been on the decline for years. With everything being done by email or online bill pay it’s not going to get better, just worse. You’re complaining now, wait until November when they have to process all those mail in ballots. Your regular mail and packages are going to be at the bottom of the priority list. We have drop off boxes all over the city. Super easy to drop off.

My daughter is a mail carrier. She says with Covid that more people at home, more items being ordered, more items needing shipped/delivered. These mail carriers drive these vehicles with no air conditioning, no heat. They are working very hard. They have many customers who rely on them for medicine, food, pet supplies etc to survive. I would hope people would be kind and compassionate. Thank you to all who show kindness to their mail ladies/gentlemen. Yeah my boyfriend is a mail carrier and he’s been having to deliver other carriers routes because sometimes they just don’t deliver everything and go home. I would ask him for his input but I don’t want to get him started 😏

My kids’ schools plan to mail their schedules out for which two days of the week they are assigned to physically attend school today Friday the 7th. They start school Monday the 17th. Based on typical mail delivery these days, plus the aftermath of Isaias, I doubt we will receive them before school starts.

I am frustrated. I love my mail carrier. We are friends so it's not her it's the system. My daughter is an hour away. I had something I needed to get quickly to her but neither of us have time to drive and meet. So, I mailed it priority mail yesterday (Thurs.). The label says 2-day. Should get there Saturday right? Mail Thursday, receive Saturday. Nope. Estimate is Monday for Priority Mail 1 hour away. Ugh!!!!!!

I only get mail delivered a few days a week. It is weird. I don't know if that is a problem in my particular neighborhood, or all of Columbus, or what. Also, things take a really long time to get here.
