I am so very sorry that you are at this point with Ava. The pain for you all must be enormous and also for the nursing staff who will have grown to love her and your family as they care for her. It is such a very sad outcome.
I hope your DH is doing well from his surgeries and you will find some peaceful times together. Your son and DIL will have drawn comfort from your presence. Thank you for taking the time to update us when things are so very difficult for you.

There are absolutely no words of comfort that can be given but I am so so sorry. I know that all of your hearts are breaking, as are ours. Sweet little Ava has brought so much love and has fought so hard. Please know that she and your whole family are enveloped with our love.
