The transplant lady was Liz something. Also many years ago there was Lady Stars. She was super active and posted multiple times a day. She always had a tale of woe. One day she posted that her husband was painting the inside of vacant house and found one of those scrapbook things on wheels full of supplies. He brought it home for her and she was thrilled. Her tales of poverty finally got to the peas and they generously sent her money because she only had a "crust of bread" at home to feed her kids. Some peas sloths found her on the internet and outed her as a fraud. What about Brown Eyed Peas and her message board? Lots of peas posted some pretty nasty stuff about 2 Peas and someone copied and pasted it and posted it on 2 Peas. All hell broke out. I just want to save for prosperity the “pea sloths”. I am the worst at posting typos since I rarely reread what I write, but I have never posted anything that great. My favorite pea story is the French teenagers. I don’t remember who it was because I never remember people’s names but someone who was normally pretty ok started posting crazy and mean stuff. Later on she came back and claimed some French Teenagers got on her computer and were posting as her. Around my house whenever anyone does anything out of the ordinary or awful we blame the French Teenagers. That one was just so ludicrous, I believe she left after that, but other peas will remember more details. Beadhound wasn’t it?

That was it, Fleur. Did she leave the board or stay after that? Huh, I thought it was Beadhound too. She wasn't the one who posted a bunch of negative stuff about police then when the blowback started she said some French teenagers staying with her logged into to Pea account and posted all of it?

I suppose it was a matter of perception. She didn't stick out to me as being anything other than nice, albeit a bit selfish. I think everyone felt bad for her because her son ended up being very premature and was in the hospital for a long time. Plus she needed another transplant. I can't remember but didn't she say they went as a guest of a family member?

That was it, Fleur. Did she leave the board or stay after that? She didn't leave then, she still stuck around and posted for a while after that, her daughter also used to post

I think Lauren’s ID was outed at one point. As savage as she was, nobody deserves to have their location and info out on the web without consent.

I can't remember but didn't she say they went as a guest of a family member? That's what I recall. I met Lizz on several occasions. The first time was at a scrapbooking event that lucyg invited me to. I couldn't stay to scrapbook but stopped by to meet everyone. The second time I went to her house to deliver some pralines after she got out of the hospital. I met her DH and DS. They were quite nice and I was sad at all the hate she got after the fact.

The scrapbooking elevator to hell. I must have missed that one... She was a famous scrapbooker. She lived in a kibbutz it was all over the pub. I don’t remember all the details but it was some sort of HOF drama.

There was also the time the secret Garden Girl board was made public and all their rude posts about the scrapping peas were exposed. that was a bad glitch. I think the message board was very hard for Kristina to control. I can understand how hard it all was for her. She had to vent somewhere and somehow. Can you imagine how all consuming 2 peas was for her and her family. It was huge and hard. I am not condoning what was said. Can you imagine the customer service nightmare 2 peas was? It was the biggest best SB website in the history of scrapbooking. I cant imagine controlling that beast and I cant imagine it not being frustrating. I was a garden girl at one time, but I cant remember if I was still a gg when it happened. I have empathy. WE were monsters on nsbr lol No-one could contain that beast! lol I have long been fascinated by the claim that 2 peas was the bestest ever scrapbooking store online. Everyone said that. They had an AMAZING gallery of layouts. Oodles of tutorials and super fun message boards. That part is undeniable. But the store part wasn’t great. Their products were NEVER in stock. Maybe it was great for garden girls, but for regular little old me, I could never acquire the good stuff. I would see pictures of it, fall in love with it, but couldn’t have most of it because it was always sold out. And if they were in stock they took forever to get to you. Those don’t make for pleasant shopping experiences.

French teenagers was Fleur, because she lived in France, I think she owned or managed a café or something there. One day she suddenly started posting lots of rude messages to people on various threads.
I don't recall the beadhound incident, but if something similar happened, then it was just garden variety teenagers involved, not French ones.

Didn't we get word that she passed away? Or am I confusing her with someone else? That does ring a bell, her daughter's was something like Leigh Jade, or Jane / LJ. Now that you mention it maybe I do recall her coming back to post a few years later saying Fleur had died.

The garden girls got paid in store credit and well we were always chomping at the bit to buy new stuff. Thats where the problem was. New stuff came in.... the garden girls bought it all new product immediately because they had all this money to spend. I think it was like 25$ a layout if I remember correctly and the requirement was 5 LO a month. Hello! thats a TON of product times TWENTY to twenty five garden girls!! . Then the layouts would get done and all them items used were out of stock because we bought them all! That was really fun while it lasted! Not a great way to run a store though.

I was thinking it was $50/layout, and it would be more if it was a special project/blog post/etc.. As a digi GG, I was paid actual cash, because we received all of the digital products free. 2Peas was one of the only DT gigs at the time that paid actual money, and didn’t just compensate with product. Even giving a credit, and allowing you to spend it on what you wanted, was different than most others, where they just sent you what they wanted.

Oh I knew that they would pay in product/credit but didn’t realize it was to that extent! It just used to frustrate me that they could have that title (the best EVAH!) when their stuff was never in stock and only really available to the garden girls. 🤣. It for sure was not a sound business decision on their part. I always wonder if they had not had that practice (or had it to such an extreme) if their business would still be today.

Beadhound sent a Pea whose name I can’t remember a seriously NASTY PM basically calling all police officers pigs and wishing them death and a bunch of other vile things. That Pea has had enough and posted it to the board, outing Beadhound. It was awful. I was shocked by it because it was in striking contrast to how she had presented herself on the board.

I can’t remember the username but someone posted a photo of a model in a “post a photo of yourself” thread and they were called out and never came back. They posted a lot, too.

how about the girl who posed as a military wife and her honey was deployed,,, and then she got cancer and got turned out she was all fake and used a picture of a hooker or something to show people who she was..she was trying to get money out of the peas. She was laying the groundwork for her ruse for quite a while.... and she was totally fake and we all busted her... those were the good ol days lol. Peas have always been great detectives Isn't this the one we ended up calling her a Bratz doll?

The Biogs started by Peas to trash members. I think there might have been at least two. The Meat Blog and I can’t remember the other. ( Maybe Wow.Just.Wow / TwoPeas Smack blog. Something like that. ) Wowsa. Some really nasty stuff was posted. And every.single.pea posted “ I know about the Blog, but I’ve never read / visited it”. Yeah, Right. I also remember rumors that a guy started one, and maybe the other one was started by a Pea that is now deceased. All updates stopped after her passing. Could be a coincidence, but who knows. Oh yeah I was mentioned on there once.. said something like I complained about my husband all the time (I think).. which was really weird because I don't think I have ever complained about him THAT much.. haha... then there was a mean pile on...again never understood. I only went to it a few times... it was NASTY... I was really shocked at the crude way these people were talking. I am not a prude or a saint and can say my share of cuss words, but there was NO line on that smack blog. I felt gross even looking at it.

I know it was a glitch. There were some pretty personal and snotty attacks and holier then thou posts by the GG though and more directed at the peas on the scrapbooking side, not the NSBR. oooh, no! It was definitely directed at the NSBR side. We were complaining about the lack of SB supplies though, and the GGs. it was Me, sasha, and Monica they were not happy with.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it was this same wacky women, who was spending all this money on tear bears, and buying nice things, and taking care of herself. We were all just beneath her. eyeroll.

Wasn't there an incident involving a Peas DD wanting to go to prom and peas sending $$ for a dress, etc? And was someone’s son going to be her date? Or am I making stuff up? I want to say that those were two different scenarios, but I could be totally wrong.
