S/O What crazy things have happened on this board?

The things I remember from this message board and the old message board.

The accidentally made public Garden Girl board and some of the mean Garden Girls (Shannon Tidwell, Jen (not sure on last name).

The swap and trade. Orange clouds. 

The cupcakes that fall on the sidewalk, that were scraped up--smoothed out--and served.

Lady who asked for money for her kidney transplant. But she had money saved, but that was for her Disney trip, not her medical expenses.

Ashley, burnt feather daughter, who had a second screen name to harass people about how bad MLM's are.

The current Tim Holtz drama.

A lady named Angela Marnelle?/Marvelle? (or something like that) who would post photos and in the background her house was so filthy and dirty.

The drama at one of the conventions that a scrapbook group (foxie cropping?) would attend and make scenes and complain about the classes so they could get free products. They did that to a sweet teacher names Jules, who was on Unscrappables message board and the whole drama came over to the old two peas board, with many saying her class was awesome, so the get free stuff plan backfired and made the scrapbook group look bad.

Same! 😂

Ok.. just me being nosey...

But i really really want to know how the pea who outed Ashley/AM (burning feathers daughter) knew it was Ashley... i never ever wouldve guessed who the MLM troll was..

I have been around for 16 years and remember all of this except for the Mrs. Tyler thing. Can someone fill me in?

The scrappower fake glamor shot photo was here. I am almost positive that the scrappower here was not the original from the old board -- the original had a very unique writing style & definite opinions, but the one here did not.

The Beadhound police incident directly involved me. It happened when the four officers were ambushed in WA state. They were four officers I had worked with as a dispatcher, the wife of one was a co-worker and is a friend of mine to this day. I came home late the day after the shooting, having sat with the family all day, logged on and saw what for all intents was a condolence thread save for a post by Beadhound saying that the cops deserved it. I told her to fuck off, and with like sentiment from many, many peas, she did.

Is that why she is gone?  I miss her too. 

And the woman posing as her ended up being a scrapbook store owner!

I remember the Beadhound incident. It was shocking. She left the boards right after I believe. I seem to remember her anti-police feelings had been mentioned at times, but not to the extent that came out in the PM. She had been very active on the boards, too, and I remember often enjoying her viewpoints. It was weird. We've had a few incidents like that, where suddenly things seem to get turned upside down. And of course Mrs Tyler. And the ongoing Lauren sagas, both here and the old board. But there have been some hysterically funny things too. Like the dog stealing baby Jesus. And the husband and the turkey, is that right? 
Man. Lots of stuff. Lots of BS. Lots of laughs. I too checked out the horrid blog once or twice and even found myself on there, and I was, I thought, a fairly bland Pea. Those women were (are?) just really, really nasty. I could never understand that. 

Was there a pea who fell in love with her step son or was that just a story shared over there?
And Les Merlot, why does that pop in my head?
Also, what was the board started shortly after HOF gate that was all smiles and sunshine? Sis something? They had a store too, I think a lot of the published peas went over there. There was one that had red hair and she designed some kits for them. Man, they were so cherry and chipper, not a negative word anywhere. Definitely the anti peas!

Yes, I do remember a new scrapsite and I think it looked pretty slick too.  I recall a blonde woman that started it with her husband?  I think they had a lot of digital stuff?  Yes, they were definitely nicer!  I don't recall it lasting very long!

I really don't think there is a difference between our two boards and to say there is one is splitting hairs. Two peas shut down, the next day I came here. It is all the same board with the same history. We are a continuation with the same history, not a separate board. I have no idea what happened there and what happened here.

I really thought the French teenagers was beadhound. I must have remembered it incorrectly.

There was a pea, I think her name was Silverdolphin, or something like that. She had a 14 year old that was pregnant and was proud of it. She had all kinds of weird opinions.

I agree, although I feel like the first few years of refugees was much nicer than the old board.

Fleur was the French teenagers, and that's a way back when. I've been a pea for 20 years, so I'd bet it was 15 years ago. Her daughter lived in the UK. There was also a brother of Fleur's named Mark. IIRC, he posted using Fleur's log in....or am I making that part up? I can't recall whether he was in the Uk or France.

From what I recall, Fleur always was a little "different" and there were mini-dramas on the board as a result. Her daughter felt more level-headed to me. Then the "teenagers" took over Fleur's account, and the rest is history. <---- I don't have a clear recollection of exactly what transpired though and why Fleur left.

The two locations are so intertwined that it is hard to differentiate at times. We didn't skip a beat when the original board folded and getting this one set up the same day. It was one of the few times I've been right there as things were happening. I was #33 to sign up here. Because of that quick change over, I think many of us think of the boards as basically the same.
