As I put laundry away, I noticed how many of my clothes I have not worn yet this summer. Part of that is being home more. I do work outside of the home now (have since June) but not as often as usual because I am also still doing some zoom meetings. Summer is short here so in general, I probably don't need as many summer clothes as I have. I have an embarrassing number of shirts that I got last year and they still have tags. Again, partly because I haven't had an occasion to wear them but I also seem to buy things that are a little out of my comfort zone and then chicken out or choose something else to wear. This is worse with summer clothes than winter clothes. I have been more comfortable wearing tanks and shorts in public this year, but tank tops are the most common thing in my wardrobe that I haven't worn yet.
I just picked several things to get rid of but have many more that I tried on and decided I like but need to wear. Do others have this issue? Please tell me it isn't just me....lol

Accounting for season, before Konmarie, eh, 50%. After Konmarie and GYPO I’d say 90%. I really learned from both to just buy only what I love, and that stepping out of my comfort zone was where the fun in clothes really is. 😁

It’s not just you. I have a ton of t-shirts that I bought from Kohl’s because I liked the patterns and wanted something nicer to wear to school to volunteer than the faded worn out junk I wear at home, but I hate how they fit. The body length shrinks up, the sleeves are too short and they’re just ugh. I also have a bunch of Capri length pants that I never wear because I don’t have the right shoes to wear with them. I’m really limited by what shoes will work with my orthotics and I don’t want to look like a dork.

Because of the pandemic, I'm wearing about 25-25% of my wardrobe. I'm dressing very casual these days. I miss wearing my nice clothes but it seems silly to get all dressed up to work at home.

Pre Covid, I’d say 60%, even after Marie Kondo-ing it. Right now, I’m at about 25%. Just yesterday I packed away 2 tubs of work clothes and summer clothes I know I won’t wear anymore this year. Feels more streamlined and less cluttered in my closet.

Lately I’d guess about 1- 5% if you account for season

crazy4scraps I have been getting rid of anything that doesn't fit the way I like. Usually that means too long, too gape-y or low in the neck line, or clingy in my stomach. I'm trying to be more like PrettyInPeank

I am probably wearing 10% of my clothes. I am working from home, so I am not wearing 50% of my clothes. I haven't worn my business clothes since March. And then the only place we go is to the store, we don't socialize, so I have no reason to wear my nicer clothes.

I'm trying to be more like PrettyInPeank I’m working on it. T-shirts are my weakness. I pulled most of them out of my closet when DH added some shelves for me MONTHS ago, and I started going through them when Covid hit and never got around to finish sorting through everything. I think the shirts I hate (but are for the most part like new) DD wants to use for sleep shirts. She doesn’t care that they’re too big for her because she’s just sleeping in them, but at least it isn’t a total waste. I am going to get rid of all the really ratty ones, and all the armpit stained long sleeve shirts (there’s a bunch of those!) and really pare down what I keep.

After a couple big moves I was done with packing and unpacking clothes that hadn't been worn in years and donated at least 70% of my clothes. I have a very small wardrobe and wear 80% of it regularly.

I think this is a good reminder that I’m going to clean out my closet tomorrow and put some storage bins away. I’m not going to be wearing work clothes for a looong time. All I wear are shorts, sun dresses, tanks and tees. And running clothes.

I'm wearing about 10% of my clothes partly due to the pandemic and being at home. I'm a teacher who will be going back to school face to face in a couple of weeks so I'll have to get used to wearing real clothes and shoes/boots

Percentage? I'm not sure. But I'm wearing only my work uniform, lounge clothes that don't need ironing, night wear, and jeans-and-a-top for going shopping or walks. We haven't gone "out" anywhere that needs dressing up for 7 months.
I'm not planning on wardrobe culling at the moment though, because everything is so upside-down with Covid. It might settle. If it doesn't, I'll have a clear out then.
ETA: Probably 70% of my clothes are winter clothes, because I live in the UK. We've been having unusually warm/hot weather since February, so my cold-weather clothes aren't seeing as much daylight as they usually do.

I'd say, 95% of my clothes I wear on a weekly basis.
But it also helps that my wardrobe consists of casual, and even more casual.
I've given up on buying "fantasy me" clothes. Clothes that I think I could find a place to wear, where I would look sophisticated and beautiful.
My feet are too painful to wear anything but sneakers, so any cute outfit I would buy would look silly worn with clunky sneakers.
I wear jeans, jean shorts, and roomy tee shirts. It's what I'm comfortable in. I can wear them with sneakers. And I actually wear them when I buy them.

Not very high, given my at home COVID situation. Back to school on the 24th, so will be wearing scrubs again. For the past month I’ve been alternating a couple of pair of Kohl’s ankle pants (like track or workout pants) and the few t-shirts that actually fit b/c I’ve put on about 12 lbs this year and nothing else fits comfortably anymore. I really need to lose 15 lbs., I know it would make a big difference in how my clothes fit, but the only motivation I have at the moment is to eat. Ugh....

About 2% at the moment, we're only really going out for groceries again so I'm not making any kind of effort to dress up. I feel really sad about this tbh.

Right now? Maybe 10%. That includes my PJs and workout clothes, LOL! I lost my job in July due to COVID (university staff position) and now all I do is wrangle 4 kids daily (3 are my nieces and nephew who moved here to our area in June). I want my old life back.

Lol... these days? Maybe .2% of it. Seriously, since the pandemic started I've worn nothing but sweat pants, leggings, and long or short sleeved tee shirts. A couple of times I put on my jeans but not at all since the hot weather arrived. My Birkenstocks or Crocs. And no bra unless I absolutely have to. Back in the old days, i.e., pre-Covid, I had Kondo-ed my clothes so I did actually wear quite a lot of them.

30%? i gained weight. sigh. plus i live in a very hot/very cold climate so i am not wearing all those sweaters and long sleeve shirts right now.
i did do a huge purge when i moved here a year ago and was ruthless. i am returning to work next week in a "real" job so expect some may go back in rotation (blouses, etc).
some of the stuff that is too small, i am holding on to for now. 10 lbs and a some belly busting and we should be good to go... some of the shirts technically fit but just are a little snug around the middle and the pants i can wear but are uncomfortable (the delusion is real... but this is what i tell myself... guess time will tell).

Basically all of it that’s seasonally appropriate, excluding cocktail and formal attire. I’ve worked remotely for a number of years, and have always dressed for work - I’m not dressing differently due to covid.
I also made a decision a couple years ago to dramatically reduce the size of my wardrobe. I only buy and own things that I love, fit me well, and fit in a limited color palette i chose. That makes me feel great in whatever I’m wearing,, gives me a ton of outfit options and keeps me from buying something because “it’s a great deal” but doesn’t really fit in with anything else. No more multiple sizes; I own things for my body as it is. No things i used to love but wouldn’t wear anymore. Now, I open my closet and everything in there (which is waaaaay less than i used to be and it feels great that way) is something i like to wear and wear regularly, and most of it can mix and match and make a ton of different outfits.

I've been home since March, so not much. As I head back to work soon, I'm really going to take a look at the stuff in my closet. I just don't wear as much as I have and I'd really like to get rid of stuff that's hanging around. All of it fits, but since I've changed positions, some just doesn't work.

I'm wearing about 10% of my clothes partly due to the pandemic and being at home. This is my estimate, too. I mostly just wear tee shirts now that I’m only leaving the house to grocery shop. It seems silly to wear something just around the house that I need to hand wash or iron.

When I started doing the GYPO style challenges I got rid of a lot of things that were taking up space in my closet. I ended up buying quite a few things at first, but I really wear my fall and winter clothes a lot. Spring in MN is iffy. I have spring clothes, but the weather really dictates if I can wear them much. I have a lot of cute summer shorts and tops, but since we live at the lake in the summer I find that my jean shorts and tees get worn most of the time. If I go anywhere - even the grocery store I make a point to wear my cuter clothes.

When I need to make a public appearance, I find myself wearing one of five outfits that I’ve been rotating this summer. It’s been an extraordinarily beautiful, perfect summer for us ...weatherwise. In the house, working from home, shorts and tee every single day, even for zooms. Don’t care.
In the before days, I would say I wore 80% of my wardrobe on a regular basis. I don’t own or buy loads of clothes. In general, I know what type of things fit me well and what I look good in and only buy those things.

I've really pared down my wardrobe. It's almost capsule sized and I love it. For the summer, I have 4 pair of casual capris, 8 casual shirts/tshirts and 2 pair of lightweight pants. In my closet I have 5 blouses that I wear pretty much all season but add a sweater in the colder seasons. I don't own a dress or skirt but I do have a couple pair of dress pants.
My complete wardrobe fits into one dresser and 1/3 of a small closet. I wear all of my summer wardrobe and mix and match.

100% of my yoga pants and tees. Very little of anything else. That will change when I have to start recording lesson videos and doing synchronous lessons as well. I’ll put on my teacher clothes for that.
