My goal for the week is to continue my aerobics, arm weights on Tues/Thurs and more walking. It has been a challenge for me doing a lot of walking due to "social distancing" but I will figure something out.

I'm slowly, but surely making progress.
Smaller portions. Walking. Staying hydrated. NOT buying any snack foods.

Did my pedaling this morning, this ride had a lot more hills so I was sweating A LOT! Felt good though,
I want to continue to pedal everyday and this week my goal is to add in upper body exercises 3 x this week.

My goal this week is 5 days with 40 minutes of movement. I'm heading out to walk with my son on his lunch hour. We're going to walk along the river where his office is. He moved out to his own apartment last week, and I miss him.

I’m good about running most days - ran 5 miles this morning at 7am but I’m such a slacker when it comes to arms. I did some pushups last night but my goal is at least 2 more arm sessions this week. Either just more pushups or using bands. I’d also love to try an online ballet class.

I am going to jump in because I need some motivation! I went on vacation 3 weeks ago and since coming back I have struggled to get back to my routine. My goal this week is do 3 peloton rides and 2 bootcamp classes (my gym does outdoor workouts and has a FB live workout every day).

My goal is four runs and two strength workouts.
For any of you fitbit users have you played Get Fit Bingo? It's under the discover tab than challenges. You choose friends to challenge and then the time period and you each try to achieve your own bingo. It's fun!

Welcome to the new faces! Glad you jumped in! MONDAY: Today was so hot I had to rearrange my routine. I did my aerobics and walk this evening. So, I gotta be flexible this week.

I missed this post yesterday! Last week I hit my goal of 5 bike rides, with one 30 minute ride.
This week my goal is also 5 rides and throw in some intermediate rides and at least one longer ride.
We started back to school this week with students. My son has to be at football at 6:45 and then I have to head straight to school, so I’ve been waking at 5AM and going straight out to ride. So far mission accomplished! I rode both Monday and today. Today I did a 20 min 80’s music intermediate ride. It was perfect.

Finished my morning ride, hoping to have enough energy to do arms tonight. Yesterday I didn’t feel well, so I skipped arms. I really love riding though, even though I am a hot sweaty mess afterwards I look forward to it and today I made it to minute 25 before I had to pep talk myself into finishing. Usually it is minute 20 I am convinced I can’t finish. I always finish, but I was pleased it made it longer before doubting myself.

Ok. I am joining in.
My goal is to walk 1.5 miles every day first thing. So far, so good this week. Next week, I start back to work so that will be the real test of making it work...but next week is next week. Gotta take care of this week first.

I am afraid I'm not walking as much this week--or probably next week either. Our temperatures are predicted over 100 for the next 10 days. With the smoke in the air, it just isn't healthy to be out much. I still am getting out early in the morning when it's only about 80, but I'm only getting in about 2-3 miles in a day now instead of the 7 or over I was getting when it was a bit cooler out!! I'm still working with my pilates machine in the house though. I need that for my bum knee!!

I tried to do a little early this morning but it was just not gonna happen. LOL! So flexiblity is key. Hopefully, this heat wave will pass soon.

My goal is to walk 10,000 steps every day. And to continue to use portion control. Since it's already Tuesday I won't set an arm goal.... *sigh*. Monday: 10,113 steps Tuesday: 18,408 steps (includes a Rails to Trails bike ride with the Fitbit tied to my shoe...)

Well, I did a 5 km walk yesterday. I'm kayaking tomorrow morning. Friday night I have a friend date to cycle. I may go a bit early for the bike ride. She's just getting into cycling again and can't go very far. I want to do a few kms before we meet up.
Good luck everyone.

Today was day two of three at the gym. Boy was it brutal! My coach had me put weight on my barbell and it kicked my butt! Yes I’m old, fat and out of shape. I’ve been eating my feelings this past year Todays workout every 2 minutes for 10 minutes 8 sit ups 8 Russian twists 8 mountain climbers (to opposite side) then 25 deadlifts 25 calories bike 25 clean and jerks 25 calories bike 25 deadlifts ** 14 minute cap

Did my pedaling tonight, going to do upper body stuff tonight while watching Big Brother! Tomorrow I likely won’t pedal because I am going hiking, so I am going to call it good. Wondering how many steps I will get. I hope enough to make up for skipping my pedaling.
Good work everyone, you all inspire me everyday!!!

Wednesday: 16,258 steps. It is very, very pretty weather here in Central Pennsylvania but we really could use some rain.

I got in an hour walk with a friend on Tuesday - another one of those gorgeous New England days.
Then yesterday I walked for 3.2 miles around my neighborhood. Someone placed little painted rocks along my route -- there must have been 20-30 of them. They were tucked into mailbox posts, under trees, in the corner of driveways. It made me smile the entire walk. I took pictures of a bunch of them.
I'll head out for my walk this morning when DH leaves for work.

Ride 4 in the books for me. I did an intermediate ride yesterday that had a lot of out of the saddle work, so my thighs were burning in today”a ride but I got through it.

Thursday: 11,830 steps. Most on two missions to see if the painted rocks my daughter placed were found and taken yet. One was, one wasn't.

I did a 20 min lower body workout earlier. I usually do more activity before strength but today just wasn't feeling it. I was tired and just blah during the workout. Then afterwards I was walking up the steps and as soon as I put pressure on my left knee, I had searing pain. It seems to be fine unless I am going up stairs (and the last time I tried it was not horrible, but still there). I have had problems with my knees in the past so hopefully this is a short-lived problem. I just went for a 45 min walk and it was fine.

THURSDAY: Today was better! I did some stretching, arms and walk. It is not nearly as much as I've been doing but I am finding around this heat. iamkristinl16- OH, take it easy on that knee. I hope it feels better tomorrow!
