Did over 12,000 steps today, but no pedaling although I actually wanted to this morning, I would have but I simply didn’t have time before my walking. I figure that is a good sign though, that I was actually missing it.

Today was my day off from the gym, but a friend messaged me that we were walking dogs tonight. So four of us walked our dogs and I got 2 miles in.
Tomorrow will be a hard workout since it’s Friday.

Thursday: 11,830 steps. Most on two missions to see if the painted rocks my daughter placed were found and taken yet. One was, one wasn't. Wait -- are we supposed to take the painted rocks we find? I smiled my entire walk, every time I saw a new one. I took pictures of them and left them for others to enjoy. I actually walked 4(!!) miles yesterday. That's pretty good considering that I spent pretty much the entire 5 months since COVID sitting on my couch. In less than three weeks, I've sure upped my game. Thanks all for giving me a little extra motivation and community. And, even though I already met this week's goal, I can't wait to go out for my walk this morning.

I’m curious what the protocol should be.

I just wanted to stick to my 30 day challenges and couch to 5k app.
I’m on day 3 of lilli sabri’s 30 day challenge on YouTube. I have 1 more day of running this week. I walk every evening too. Now if I could just cut out junk food.

We turn the rocks over, and if they say "Happy Valley Rocks, Facebook" on the bottom, they are meant to be photographed, posted on the Facebook group, and moved. If they are blank on the back we leave them alone. Thursday: 11,830 steps. Most on two missions to see if the painted rocks my daughter placed were found and taken yet. One was, one wasn't. Did my pedaling this morning and even added the recommended 5 minute cool down. Not terribly exciting, but hey, 5 more minutes is 5 more minutes!

Completed my third workout for the week. Every muscle is done! Friday workouts are super hard and I have a feeling I’ll be in bed early tonight!

I walked my 1.5 miles everyday this week. The weather was cooler in the morning and I actually had to wear a sweatshirt one of the days!
Next Monday, I start back to work so that will be my big challenge!

FRIDAY: Didn't get much exercise today. I will stretch at bedtime and did a tiny walk. This week I didn't meet my goals but I will get back to it Monday. You ladies inspire me and let's keep this going, OK?! I will post the new thread as usual. See you Monday!

I met my goals for the third week in a row! YAY!!! I walked 3.5 miles Friday. Luckily we've been having a run of cool and dry weather in the mornings. I'm thinking of buying an exercise bike for winter -- anyone have a recommendation?

I'm thinking of buying an exercise bike for winter -- anyone have a recommendation? I have been using the Schwinn Ic4 and love it! It is so whisper quiet and works with the peloton and various other apps. It can be hard to find, I had to stalk Dicks sporting goods everyday, but since it was such a good price it was worth it. I saved 10% for signing up for emails and used Rakuten, so it was just under 700. I know a cheaper option is the Sunny which also gets good reviews, but the ic4 had more bells and whistles. I heard about from a pea that has it and I seriously could not be happier with it. It is also really compact and doesn’t take up much floor real estate.

I had a great week! 5km on Monday. 10km walk yesterday. I had a bike ride with a friend. I did schedule to go kayaking but we had a thunderstorm warning so that didn't happen. Also did a few sessions of yoga- gentle with lots of stretching.
I stepped on the scale this week 😩 Gotta keep moving and drop the crappy food.

I was thinking about an indoor bike for the winter. We had one growing up and it was well used by all of us.

Just finished my longest ride yet, mainly because I actually pedaled the full 30 minutes and tacked on the 5 minute cool down. Currently I am trying to muster up the energy to get off the bed where I collapsed after getting off the bike. Great job everyone, so proud of all of us!!! You guys all inspire me so much! Have a great weekend!

I had a bad headache all day yesterday (hormones/first day of period + change in weather did me in!) but I still worked out. Did 30 minutes on my peloton and a 20 minute yoga class. I drew the line at strength because I really was feeling bad but I was proud to have worked out at all.

Done with the goal I set. I didn’t ride yesterday so my plan was to wake up pretty early and ride this morning. I ended up sleeping in a bit. The old me would have said oh well you don’t have time to ride now, but the new me got her ass out there! I did a longer and harder ride than I usually do. It was great. Then after my shower I got the whole family cleaning and now the house looks great too!
I’ve lost 9 pounds in the 30 days. I’m finally getting back on track and heading back down to my lowest weight.
