I'm sure Trump hardly knew the guy. LOL At least, we should be looking for that tweet soon. Why is it that Trump surrounds himself with these thieving grifters and yet the cult of Trump continues their blind devotion to him? Historians will be puzzling over that for years.

MSNBC: SDNY looking for more.... Seychelles meeting!! Erik Prince was on the Board!! Trump Tower.. The fish are getting bigger!! As to the actual cases, mostly a paper work job, not a whole lot of needed testimony beyond the charges, but........... negotiations can get very interesting if the suspect chooses to give up the info for a deal!

Kris Kobach is ......... he was the leader of the committee that was supposed to find all the election fraud in the 2016 elections!! He did not, and abandoned the committee. He just ran in the GOP primary for Senate? but he was not the dt/GOP pick, they did not want him to win so he is not on the priority list of dt's!! Kris Kobach gives tour of GoFundMe border wallAaron Martinez El Paso Times May 28, 2019 Former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach was in the El Paso area Memorial Day weekend to show off the new wall near Sunland Park, New Mexico, built with money raised from a GoFundMe account. Kobach is general counsel for the “We Build the Wall” group, which has raised more than $22 million of its $1 billion goal to put up barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border.
The group and its advisory board also include several prominent proponents of President Donald Trump's immigration policy, including former White House strategist Steve Bannon, Blackwater security firm founder Erik Prince, former U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado, and Milwaukee's "Sheriff" David Alexander Clarke Jr.** "WE DID IT!!! First privately funded wall is nearly complete!" Brian Kolfage, an Air Force veteran from Arizona who started the We Build the Wall GoFundMe, posted on his Facebook page late Sunday. The post included a video showing work on the wall. On Monday morning, Kobach appeared on the Fox News program "Fox and Friends" to announce that construction of the half-mile bollard wall was nearly complete. ** www.elpasotimes.com/story/news/immigration/2019/05/28/border-wall-tour-kris-kobach-gofundme-elpaso-texas-donald-trump/1254699001/

What sweet justice is it that the arrest was made by USPS agents? And a little reminder that Barr clumsily ousted SDNY US Attorney Berman in June and tried to put in a handpicked replacement instead of following the deputy, Audrey Strauss.

I just shouted up to my DS about this - Bannon defrauding all the donors to the wall - and his reply was that he doesn’t feel bad for any of them. He has a point....

Speaking of boats!! One of the recently indicted members of the “We Build the Wall” crowdfunding campaign allegedly used money from donors to buy a ship that was seen last month participating in a “boater parade” in honor of President Donald Trump. As flagged by New York Times reporter Evan Hill, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York claims in its indictment that “We Build the Wall’s” leaders funneled money from the crowdfunding campaign to illegally buy a wide array of luxury goods. ** One of their purchases, according to SDNY, was “a 2019 Jupiter Marine boat named ‘Warfighter,'” which was a 40-foot recreational boat. Defend democracy. Click to invest in courageous progressive journalism today. Hill then notes that one of the co-conspirators listed in the indictment “used the boat he bought with illegally-siphoned ‘We Build the Wall’ funds to sail in the July 4 Trump boat parade in Destin, Florida.” ** Although the indictment doesn’t specifically say who bought “Warfighter,” it does claim that co-defendant Brian Kolfage made “payments toward a boat” with the hundreds of thousands of dollars he allegedly skimmed from the crowdfunding campaign ** www.rawstory.com/2020/08/revealed-ship-bought-with-illicit-we-build-the-wall-cash-took-part-in-one-of-trumps-beloved-boat-parades/?utm_source=&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=5237

Why did they need to fundraise for something the Mexicans were paying for? For the win!!!! Scammed or not, I have zero sympathy for any of the “victims “. In fact, I find the whole thing quite laughable.

Tomorrow will be all about fielding questions about Bannon and then getting that stupid tell on his face, where his mouth falls open, followed by his speech going all doughy, while he claims, "Look, I don't even know the guy." Nice try, LLPF.

Things are falling into place.... Trump directed Homeland Security to give $400 million to firm tied to Bannon’s We Build the Wall scheme: report Published 22 hours ago on August 20, 2020 By Sarah K. Burris President Donald Trump was caught in a precarious position when one of his top former aides and former campaign CEO was indicted for fraud after running a fake effort to build the wall on the southern American border. Over a year ago, the Pentagon inspector general began looking into a suspicious $400 million contract given from the Department of Homeland Security to the construction company linked to Bannon’s group. The funds came at Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) and Trump’s urging (Me: Wasn't the Pentagon IG recently fired? Maybe while dis-barr-him knew)“On Dec. 2, the Pentagon announced a contract worth up to $400 million to Fisher Sand and Gravel for the construction of 31 miles of new border barriers along the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in southern Arizona,” said the Washington Post. CEO Tommy Fisher launched an aggressive effort to try and score a contract, making several appearances on Fox News and paying at least $100,000 in lobbying. Fisher also personally lobbied the president, gave hefty donations to Cramer’s Senate campaign, and attacked the Army Corps of Engineers for excluding their firm. Fisher was then Cramer’s guest to Trump’s State of the Union Address in 2019.“The company also has partnered with right-wing activist group We Build the Wall to construct fencing on private land with millions of dollars raised through online donations,” said the Post.** www.rawstory.com/2020/08/trump-directed-homeland-security-to-give-400-million-to-firm-tied-to-bannons-we-build-the-wall-scheme-report/Remember Kobach said dt knew in January(?) 2019 about the 'We build the wall' ..... So who is lying?!?!?!

I don't feel bad for any of them, or for the people who were defrauded. They chose to give their money to bigots.

"'We Build the Wall' founder, linked to Steve Bannon, indicted on new fraud and tax charges Brian Kolfage, the previously indicted founder of an allegedly fraudulent donor campaign to build a border wall, was charged Tuesday by a grand jury on additional counts, of fraud and filing a false tax return. Kolfage was indicted last year along with three associates — including former Trump advisor Steve Bannon — on wire fraud and money-laundering conspiracy charges. Trump pardoned Bannon and dozens of others on his last night in office. Trump did not pardon Kolfage." www.cnbc.com/2021/05/06/we-build-the-wall-founder-linked-to-steve-bannon-faces-tax-and-fraud-charges.html
