Drove to my sister’s 3 hours away with dd #2. We went to my favorite farm and picked up donuts, corn, apple sauce & black berries. Then we painted door mats for Halloween. I left mine for my brother. I need a smaller size. So I’ll do it this week. While there dd’s boyfriend went to the border for an immigration meeting. I don’t know the details. It seemed odd to me that anything government related would happen on a Sunday. Anyways he was deported. After they searched his car & phone for drugs. She took it better than I thought she would. sueg your trip sounded heavenly. So glad you enjoyed it.

I think immigration offices work a whole lot since they are always WAY behind on matters. Is there a chance of him returning? I worked with a woman that had been married to a guy for 25 years, had 3 children by him. He stopped at a bar and drove home have several drinks and got a DUI and because he had 2 other traffic offenses, they said he would be deported for 10 years. Then, the guy he worked for, would send him across the border to get gas and he got caught. Now he can never return. It is sad. The guy was a very likable guy, always worked hard for his family and no, he shouldn't have had tickets! Especially a drinking one.
Hope your daughter gets a long okay with what happened. She may feel down later, but heck, then again, this might have been an easy way for her to break it off with him if she was not all that serious. Sounds like the rest of the activities were fun though. Hope your week goes well.
