Watching it again, here’s what I think happened - she watched past years’ conventions in preparation where the people had to yell to be heard over the thousands of people in the audience and then said, “Fuck the fact that I’m in an empty auditorium, if they yelled, I gotta yell too!”
I think my favourite part was when she said she was a first generation American (because, according to the Trumps, Puerto Rico isn’t part of the States?)
