Did a longer session today, 30 minute ride, 5 min cool down and 5 min stretch. I did my ride with Sam Yo today and he is delightful and his cadence is more my speed. I was able to keep up the entire time. Having a fan is a game changer as well, can’t believe what a difference that makes.
Plan is to do arm exercises while watching BB tonight.
Good work everyone, glad everyone is doing so well! Yeah us!!!

We have 3 days without rain this week, so I am biking to work those days. I have been getting much faster and have shaved about 15 minutes off my time. The uphill ride home doesn't hurt quite so much as it once did!
I looked up YouTube videos of glute exercises and I am counting that as exercise also. Maybe next week I will do them.

Wednesday: 11,565 steps and arm exercises. And I did the basic step on the Wii Fit 3 times. (Sessions are very short.) But my score was so much better that it must have been the step board placement or something for my previous attempt. I'm not THAT much more graceful and coordinated two days later. Today's Rails to Trails plan has been canceled due to expected (and still welcome) rain.

My knee is way worse then it has ever been, the area of pain has grown quite a bit, so I am not pedaling just doing arm exercises for now. I couldn’t even walk on it yesterday, I get to go see an orthopedic doc in 10 days.
So, I am sad I can’t pedal, but I will sub arm stuff until I can.
Good work everyone, love reading all your posts!

Oh man, hang in there and be gentle with yourself! I hate having to adjust my routines, too but I am learning to be flexible. Hang in there!!! Congratulations to everyone who worked towards goals this week. Have a lovely weekend. Thanks for the cheers and I hope you have a good weekend, too!

I did it- four group exercises this week, one I missed due to rain. The rest of the group went inside the gym, I just work out outdoors. I made up for it with two walk/ runs.
