My plans are going to come together slowly as I sort through the mess that is my scrap space.
1. Clean up.
2. I have a big bunch of albums with no labels on their spines, so I want to address those.
3. I want to go through my albums and relocate any that are completed to a different room.
4. I want to select, edit, and print the photos from last year that I'll need to update my December books.
And
5. I want to maybe spend some time getting a start on holiday cards.

I’m keeping it simple.
•Catch up and keep up with SG 6x6 class (I’m two sketches behind right now) •Backup August photos to computer •Backup 2020 photos to Amazon and EHDs •Delete photos off of my phone to clear up space •Be more deliberate about purchases (I know a no spend won’t work for me!) •Use up some stash

I feel like I need this right now. I'll come back tomorrow with some ideas. It will be minimal. I'm starting virtual school with my son on 09/08 and it has to be hands on.

I really love these monthly threads but I forget to participate or update after my initial post.
I'm going to play along this month!
• Start my new dog album • Back up and organise photos of our new dog from August • Finish documenting our mini-vacation from July

No-Spendtember for me minus page protectors and Rustic Rose if it debuts.
Biggest goal is to keep reorganizing my scrap room.
I really need to get hack to at least weekly videos on YouTube.
Posting weekly on my blog too is on my list.
I can do this!

I have no crop in Sept because I am going with my mom to the shore the weekend of the crop. Several of the crop regulars have tested positive for Covid which probably means the crop will be cancelled anyway.
So my only goal for September is to keep trying to "power sort." I have pulled product for the masses of photos I've taken this year to try to match them up with the photos.
If I can figure out a way to make that process less painful, I will have met my Sept goal. My plan is to have everything such that when I do have a chance to scrap I can just pull photos and product and knock them out.

My August goals: Finish my Yellowstone album-10 ish pages left Finish my DC trip album 1 or 2 pages left Keep caught up on my sketch class - one sketch per week
I got about half the Yellowstone pages down and only got 2 weeks behind on my sketch class.
So for September, I’d like to get caught up and stay caught up on the sketch class and finish both of these trip albums.
I’d also like to get my pictures printed from April- August this year and sort out the 2020 pictures I’ve already printed.

Love this thread, even when I don't have a lot to post!😁
Between work & helping the kids with virtual school, I don't have a lot of hope for much getting accomplished.
I still need to order August photos.
I want to keep up with September pandemic journaling, keeping notes for when I do scrap it.
I'm joining in on no fun spending September. I have birthdays to spend on, and each day the schools add stuff to buy for the kids virtual schooling. But no scrapping goodies, other than prints.

Aw, thank you! Two days in, loving it so far. With the kids going back to school, me going back to work, applying for another job and me generally not being amazing with change anyway, I'm going to need a project like this!

So my only goal for September is to keep trying to "power sort." I have pulled product for the masses of photos I've taken this year to try to match them up with the photos. I posted a thread about not having a scrap space and trying to stay motivated. I emptied two of my 12x12 Iris Cases and I put ongoing pages in them. I don't have a ton of stash, so that's why I stick with two. I've put in stamps, ribbon, stickers, paper...everything. When I finish a page, I put those items back.

My goals -No Spend September on scrapbook related products. -Do October Daily project, but it's more like add pages to my ongoing Halloween Album -Organize and upload photos and order for October Daily (that was one of the exceptions on no spend September) -Use my undated planner consistently especially with school starting on Tuesday. I'll decorate it a bit too. I got a stupid amount of school scrap supplies. It will be fun to do a school themed spread. I don't do individual albums for my kids once they are past the age of five. It all goes into the family album. -Scrap photos already printed. -Organize supplies more so I don't run into the problem of having 2 albums with the same set of photos as posted in the no spend challenge. The first thing is to empty my scrap basket. It's where the miscellaneous things get thrown. It's full right now.
I'm not going to be very specific on my goals. If I get something done with each one, I'll be happy. It's impossible for me to have a consistent routine/schedule.

I had the evening pretty much to myself last night and I have all my stuff I pulled right there in the TV room to be organized with photos. I managed to get about 20 envelopes (I'm using those 12x12 plastic envelopes) with photos, paper and embellies. I got a few organized but still need to pull/locate product, and the rest are just photos sorted into page protectors in some extra albums I'm not using right now.
If I had an actual crop to go to, which I don't, I could pick up and have many things to work on. I put all the birthday stuff I will choose from in one envelope with the 5 birthdays I have to scrap between April and August. I figure one crop I'll work on nothing but birthdays, lol!
I am well on my way to meeting my Sept goal. I'd like to have all of my photos sorted this way.

It’s super cute and I’m glad it’s done. I bought some adhesive and these pinkfresh outline dies so fail on the supplies but I’m ok with it. I haven’t bought in a while and decided to give myself $1 for each page completed. I now owe myself $20. Maybe I can make 20 pages this month and catch up 😜 Also I did 2 pages of last years December daily and don’t love them so I stopped working on it again.

I put away several layouts that are either finished or "done enough" just to get them off my shelf.
I continued working on a one page Fourth of July layout that I had started last week. I used a short layout how to vid (that I saw posted here) as inspiration. I used a plate to make a half circle, then did layered squares, and just one pic.
I still haven't ordered August photos yet.
With all those sales at Joann's it's hard not to jump in & buy! Buy! Buy! But...
...I've been very meh about scrapping lately. It feels like there is nothing of note to scrap because, truthfully, we're not doing anything of note.
Due to the pandemic, we're not going to events. Or museums. Or restaurants. Or movies. Not hanging out with people outside of our very tiny bubble. Spring Break & summer break was a lot of the same - inside the house, out in the backyard.
Now there's virtual school, and we took first day of school pics, but after that? Not much excitement happening.
Now my favorite season is almost here - Autumn! - and we won't be going to the farm for Fall Fest. No Trick or Treating. No school parade.
Anyway, one good thing... I tossed the paper scraps from the Fourth of July layout. Sometimes it just feels freeing not to hold onto every little piece.

LavenderLayoutLady - I think many of us are in a similar boat - I know I am. My August photos were a skunk in our yard, some cat pictures, a Skipbo game, Back to School and my birthday - all at home. I did get a bunch of photos from DS who was out in Hawaii for 3 weeks with the Navy - he was in quarantine for 2 weeks and Hawaii locked back down right as he was released (plus he was working nights) so he didn't get to do much but he did a hike, saw a cave, kayaked, and walked around a bit. I am looking forward to scrapping those. I guess the bright side is that if I can stay motivated, I should be able to make some progress on catching up since there won't be many current pics.

This morning I finally ordered my August photos. Barely a handful. And that's with three or four memes thrown in.
