I took the time yesterday and did a pretty good job dealing with my iPhone photos which was my Sept. goal.

My September plans -catch up on 2020 layouts -stay frozen -type up 10 more memories -scan the last couple of photo albums -caption and organise at least 10 more old photos well...I haven't done anything ON the list yet but I did finish volume 2 of the college album (covers the 2019-2020 school year and her sophomore year).

I'm a little late to the party but here's what I'd like to accomplish this month:
1. PRINT OUT PHOTOS! Sorry for yelling, this is my main problem, I don't print the photos so I don't scrap anything. I take that back, I print photos out for my 5 year old to make her own scrapbooks but I don't print any out for me. 2. Delete duplicate photos from iPhone. 3. Organize art journal/mixed media supplies. 4. Start September PL layouts and backfill other months as time allows.
We are 4 weeks into distance learning for my kindergartener and I think we've found a groove until they change the schedule again. I should be able to do a lot of this while she's in "school".

September Goals -- Aug OLW - started, not complete --Sept OLW --Aug PL --decide about Pea Christmas Card Swap -- Clean out closet in scrapbook room --edit photos --print photosI've gotten my closet cleaned and organized. Took some things to a friend that has a day care. Plan on editing photos this weekend and then hitting it hard on my Aug PL mid next week. Making progress. Got Aug OLW done yesterday and printed out my photos from Aug PL. Will start glueing them down today.

I've been saying I would do the 'story' layouts more this month - before the holidays and after the summer (though it was a quiet summer So, yesterday I did a page I've been wanting to do for a while. It's an ode to the old (1960s) stove at my mom's place. I love it so much and it still works like a champ.

@zingermack - love that layout and the paper is absolutely perfect as is the cute little pot Aww thanks. I found that vector file and played with my Silhouette (finally) to make it And that paper was something I found at my LSS back when I had one and knew I had to tell the story of the little old stove. Here's another one I got done today about the start of the pandemic. I always want to do more mixed media, so I 'just did it' today.

Yesterday my August pics came. I'm hoping to scrap some.
At the beginning of August, I took a pic of my ds & family cat napping together. Originally I took the pic for a funny layout, because they were in similar poses and all cozy.
But...
At the very end of the month, our cat passed away suddenly of a stroke.
That photo was the last I have of him.
So now the layout will take a much more somber tone, and I feel pressure to make it perfect.

((((Hugs))) LavenderLayoutLady I'm so very sorry for the loss of your cat. It's always hard to lose a family member. Thanks. He was very old, so it wasn't totally unexpected. But just so sudden. He was his regular self, eating breakfast that morning. Then a sudden seizure, which was a stroke, and he was gone.

Yesterday I started my August pandemic layouts. It will be just three for August.
One for national news. This page includes case & death numbers from several dates throughout the month to show speed of progression.
The second is local news.
The third is memes and maybe some of my thoughts.

I have *almost* finished adding photos and cards to my 2016 PL. I only have part of December to go. Then I will go back and embellish/journal for the year. This method of catch up seems to be working for me. I'll probably use the same method for other years I need to catch up on.
Tonight I'm going to organize my Christmas/DD stuff. For the rest of the month I'd like to finish 2016 and then go back and finish 2015. Work on my annual friend/family vacation CT album.
I'm gone this weekend for a girls weekend, so no catch up scrapping for me.

LavenderLayoutLady I'm so sorry about your cat. It doesn't matter how old he was, a death at any time is so hard.

I really love these monthly threads but I forget to participate or update after my initial post. I'm going to play along this month! • Start my new dog album • Back up and organise photos of our new dog from August • Finish documenting our mini-vacation from July Happy to say I have completed my goals for this month! I love setting a list of goals for the month - it really keeps me focussed and moving forward.

September Goals -finish Hybrid Ali Edwards class and play with PSE more -finish creating my homemade planner -create some layouts-which means getting some photos printed *Haven't finish the Hybrid Class yet, but have been playing with PSE more *created my homemade 2021 planner *added one page to my Ohio State Park Passport. This is a spiral bound notebook, with a page for each state park. I found it interesting that I had already visited 17 of the 75-bonus, I have pics of most of them. I visited Jefferson Lake State Park last Friday, hiked around the lake and took lots of pics for my page. I drank the DD Kool Aid finally. After watching numerous YT videos on albums, I concluded I could create a DD to appreciate December without being over Christmasy. My colors are going to be white, gold, dark green, dark red. Using primarily AE products. I bought plastic numbers, 3x8 journal cards. Digitally I purchased 2019 December SBTM, as I think that kit will work well with a less Christmas oriented December. I also purchased some paper & embellishment from BoBunny via scrapbook.com. I just don't want to over do it (as I did with my first WITL earlier this year.) so hopefully those supplies will be enough.

I have a bunch of projects to work on but I will just pick 2 for this month. - Finish 52 favourites for 2019. Only 4 weeks to go then proofreading.- Get it printed at Blurb.- Work on New Hampshire album. 2/8 days are done. - Get it printed at Artifact Uprising if I manage to finish it. I ordered my 52 Favourites book last night. It will be here Oct 7. I am excited to finally finish something. I got 35% off because it is my first book from them. Today I see you get 35% and free shipping. Annoyed at missing a slightly better deal but I wanted it done. I have been looking at the photos my sister took on the trip. No Pages fine yet.

I deleted photos from my phone but that's about it. I still have 2 days to finish the others right? I probably won't get September PL layouts started but I did start making my TN for the Amy Tangerine class I took so there's that. Hopefully I'll get some photos printed out today or tomorrow. I'm a little late to the party but here's what I'd like to accomplish this month: 1. PRINT OUT PHOTOS! Sorry for yelling, this is my main problem, I don't print the photos so I don't scrap anything.
