Wow, this thread is truckin' along! The Peas have been a crafty bunch this past weekend. And there's more in the individual SKETCHtember challenge threads! Catching up on Page SIX: Linda, congrats on finishing a LO that has been sitting on your desk since March. In that amount of time I would have forgotten it existed, or grabbed half the makings and turned it into something else, or... Love the blocked style, how the PL card balances the title block, and the cute little icons. And I think you said you finished the album? Congrats! And congrats on keeping up with your book of lists. CoffeeCrafter, your watermelon card is really CUTE! I think one of the big advantages of working with a company like Stampin' Up is that your stamped image exactly matches the background cs. scrappyrabbit: good luck with your new job! Love the sunflower LO. Awesome photos, and I love how you tucked in all the tags/PL cards. Perfect colours/patterns, too. Your housewarming card is really pretty: love the layers. And the "soy awesome" one is a great punny card from start to finish: cute! Hoping to catch up with the rest on Flickr.

CoffeeCrafter, your watermelon card is really CUTE! I think one of the big advantages of working with a company like Stampin' Up is that your stamped image exactly matches the background cs. The color coordination is one of the big things that drew me back to SU. There are other companies that have coordinating cs and inks, but there's just no one else out there with the spot on color coordination across the entire line (inks, paper, embellishments, ribbon, etc.) like Stampin' Up. ❤️

A friend asked me to make her a card for a wedding. I often use this paper (Fancy Pants/Park Bench) for wedding cards.

BTW thank you Linda for reminding me to print the July and August Persnickety virus timelines. I had forgotten about those for my current book, but I spotted yours. Yesterday I finished off another set of blue floral cards I shared the other day, and then played with some paper I got in a swap with gmcwife1 - such cute pandas!! I just worked with the scraps that were on my desk but I love them for donation cards. I have a lot more panda cards to make with different colored cardstock. Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I added a sentiment to this card I started ages ago. Background is patterned paper. Heat embossed stamping, quick die cut I found in my stash. Some more fun pages, Linda. Aaaah... Scrabble... Another favourite family game. I am always on the lookout for Scrapbble embellishments. Did get a set of letter tile stickers with the points on them awhile back. I want to use them for Birthday cards. Off to Flickr to take a closer look at your cards, joblackford.

Wow!! So much good stuff going on!! Love it! Going back to page 1: msliz- Your Peas pages is sooo fun!! What a great community it is here and I love how you got pictures of people to put on the page. So much fun!! CoffeeCrafter - You are so talented! Your fall box is just beautiful! Love the die cut leaf with the twine and the sentiment! Lovely! The slimline grateful cards are amazing. There is so much to enjoy! Love the patterned papers you used and how they are tie together so nicely without all the patterns being overwhelming. I also love the sentiment with the simple flower outlines. And the coffee girl piece you colored is amazing! I am not too great with Copics so I studied your piece to see how you did the shading and all. So cool! grammadee - Your school at Home page is awesome! Love the look of the layers of triangles and the paper you chose are awesome. I also like the big, long title! And your slimline birthday card is so fun! I love that you personalized it with a dog! That will be so fun for her to get. I have some slimline dies that I have bought and I need to do a card with them! KikiPea - Your We Are Blessed page is beautiful with that painted background and the flowers on top. Just perfect for the picture! And the Count Your Blessings page is awesome with the flower wreath!! And I have those VB Art Crayons but have not broken them out of the package yet. I should do that! Linda - I have always thought the 30 Days of Lists looked like a fun thing to do but never have participated. I like your booklet that you are making!

Remember when I said I was taking a little break from scrapping because of my new job? Well, the break lasted all of four days. I was itching to get back to it because my album cover arrived in the mail, and I knew I only had one more set of photos to scrap for this album. So, I did some scrapping last night, using sketch #14 as my jumping off point. Now, I really can take my "break" because I am at a natural pause in my scrapping. I have a bunch of ideas of what projects I want to start next, such as starting Halloween cards, documenting a Maine trip, and baby albums for my niece and nephew, but none of those are super pressing. I downloaded Flickr to my iPad, but I still have the same issue around sharing the link from the iPad itself. It doesn't seem to want to work from the iPad. Sigh, I guess I can really only share from the computer. Anyway, here is a one-pager from last night. I also did a 2 page spread, but I'm more meh about that one and it has pictures of some kiddos who I'm not going to share online. SUP layout by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr

Ok, looked over pages 2 and 3 in detail. Linda - I love how you are doing your pandemic pages! I love the personal narrative beside Persnickety's timeline. Your why skunk page is great! I love the black and white pp circles on the green background. And really why are all the skunk accents so cute when skunks are anything but. Anyway, your page is cute! Your Coronavirus page is amazing! I love the cut files you used and the meme. There are some great ones out there! I also love your college album for your daughter. What a treasure for her to have all those memories scrapped! CoffeeCrafter - You are such a talented card maker! I love the Hello Sunshine card with the cute citrus! And those clear dots are perfect to accent the card. The Thankful card does just put you squarely in the fall mood with that gorgeous plaid! And I love the white die cuts sticking out behind the label! And your You Got This card is great with the wreath! Love how it is offset. And that little tiny bit of scallop red sticking out is so perfect! azcrafty - Your fall cards are perfect! Love how the white pops. Are those Tim Holtz die cuts? wendy crowe - Lots of great pages!! The Back to School with the triangles is so fun! And I like how there are only three triangles on the top. We are a total baseball family so I am always drawn to baseball pages!! Love how you used the PL cards and then cluster of baseball stuff in the corner. And your Princess page with the silly face is awesome. Don't those silly kids keep us on our toes. LOL! Love the pretty florals on the page. justjac - Love your 30 Days of lists album. I will do that someday!!! I love your lattering on the lists! You are really good! And your 2020 Amile page is perfect! So trues with all the masks. I like how you used the horizontal strips of paper in the background. kitbop - Your fall market page is AMAZING! I just love all the fall embellishments and the layers! Such a great take on the sketch! Love it!! nylene - Your Virtual Cousin's Camp has my heart! I think my mom and you would be such great friends! She has made it her mission to make sure all the cousins in the family - my generation and my kid's generation are such close friends and it really is so special! I can see you are doing the same thing for your family. And I love that you document the whole thing too! The best!!!!

Happy Thursday, Peas! Well, I suppose it's already Friday for our South Pacific Peas. I've been pretty busy with work this week, so haven't had much time for posting. Here are a couple of cards I've made since my last post. I created a "stepped up" version of the watermelon card I posted on Sunday. I used the same stamp set, but just a different fruit. You can find the details here. Next up is today's card. Since Thanksgiving is less than a month away for my Canadian friends, I thought it would be fun to create a Thanksgiving card. All the details can be found here.

So happy to have so much to look at in this thread! It's a relaxing but inspiring after work activity! gramma - your travel page is amazing not just in the cool travel embellies/die cut work, but in the story you told from packing (dog) thru goodbyes and waves. And your sailboat and Halloween cards - I love how easy you find it to choose the right pp for all the different strips - I am so SLOW at that process, those cards would take me days. CoffeeCrafter - every single card you post is a work of art. The textures are always there - glossy dots on stockings to fully embossed backgrounds to small pieces of twine. Thanks for sharing them! Linda - the scrabble layout! I love that "cluster" of scrabble stickers, and your use of the scrabble paper. It looks great! tuesdaysgone - beautiful combination of pps on your card! I love the pop of colour. scrappyrabbit - gorgeous layout; I really like your choices of pps and various shapes in the background and embellishments. Visual interest everywhere! joblackford - The skeleton animal cards are fabulous! Love the "sending love" embossing on the background pp, it's beautiful. grammadee - I love love love your stenciling work. It totally steals the show on your colourful layout! But I do love the clusters on page 2 of the layout!
